The kit is overall good. The oil was in fact double sealed with a foam/paper disc and foil glued to the bottle like an OTC medication. No leaks as described by others however, the oil is not Choji oil it smells like the stuff I used to put on my trumpet valves as a kid. You can see it is clear and not yellow/brownish as in the listing pictures. The oil is probably ok for Modern replicas but I wouldn’t use it on authentic blades. I put the bottle straight into the trash.

I bought one for myself and loved it soo much, I gifted two to my friends that collect katana swords as well!!

I had ordered a few swords from Ace martial arts and was satisfied.... However I ordered the maintenance kit. VERY disappointed ☹️. Some idiot put the oil in cheap bottle no wrap or anything.... The oil spilled. Ruined everything in mail I guess... It was all messed up when I received... Last thing I order from Ace martial arts in a while.

Exactly as described, came faster that expected would buy again
