Deceiving picture
While the doll was in good condition, we didn't receive the accessories that are pictured. Some random other doll toys were included. If my daughter hadn't had her heart set on this doll, I would have asked for my money back.

My Daughter Loves her Doll!
The talking Chou Chou has been a hit since my daughter received it as a gift 2 years ago. She has her old bassinet in her room that she uses for "Millie" her doll. Great toy.

Not very educational !!
I got this oy for my daughter thinking she will learn something from the toy and also spend some time. However, I was not very impressed by the toy, because it is not an educational toy. My daughter also tossed it away. I am very disappointed..

All Aboard the CHOU CHOU Train!
This interactive doll is such fun! At the flip of a switch, she speaks fluent English or Spanish. When mommy strokes her cheek or holds her close, the doll says, "Mommy, I love you!," and then, "You're the best Mommy in the whole world!" When her bib is on, she tells Mommy she's thirsty. When drinking, there's a sipping sound, and later the doll hiccups! When the doll hugs her teddy bear she says, "Hello Little Bear! Where have you been?" She says many other phrases without prompts. We bought the giraffe sling and changing bag to hear her say more, and we're looking for other accessories (shown in the pamphlet that comes with the doll) to hear all the things she can say! Many toys "expire" by the time Christmas Day is over. Not this one! My handicapped niece, who's 10, loves it, as do her grandmother and I! We're glad "Santa" (me!) got it for her. We're happy to "babysit" when Mommy needs a break! <g> Even people in parks, restaurants, and stores have commented on what a cute and fun doll it is!Someone asked about gender. There's no working equipment. Let the child decide the baby's gender. If your child wants a boy baby, buy "boy" clothes. If your child wants a girl baby, voila! You're all set!

Not what I expected
I purchased this doll for my daughter's 4th birthday, based on the reviews it received and the reviews of other similar dolls. My daughter, otherwise not a "dolly" girl, has paid more attention to this doll than others, since she talks. However, I am quite disappointed with the way the legs are sewn on. I don't expect the doll to fare well over the long term, as the legs are literally held to the body with just a few threads. My daughter is very careful with her toys, so the durability may surprise me. I noticed the "Baby Born" line in some literature enclosed with this doll, and think that it may have been a better pick. Although it does not talk (or speaks limited words), it can get wet and appears more durable.

cute cute cute
Got this doll as a christmas present for my four year old.....love it! I also purchased the giraffe carrier and the changing pad/diaperbag, well worth the extra. I tested everything before giving it to my little girl and I hated having to put that doll back in the box til christmas morn! What a fun little baby...sweet and just interactive enough to be entertaining without getting too high tech. I really recommend this baby.

Wonderful Item
This is a wonderful, adorable doll. My little 2 year old LOVES it. It is definitely a great buy for a little girl to play, love, and nurture. I would suggest buying it.

Boy or girl????
Cute doll. Grandchild loves it. The question is what is the doll, a boy or girl? It looks to me like a hairless boy baby but it is dressed all in shades of pink. Change the cap and it definitely is boyish. So we would appreciate feedback from other doll owners, does pink really make this doll a girl? Thanks.
