I have 'reactive hypoglycemia' (both my glucose and mood can crash after eating certain things). I ate one of those foods (a so-called "health bar") that induces such an episode. After taking one bite, I took one capsule of NOW Chromium Picolinate with about two ounces of water (no other food, supplements, or beverages). I waited a full two hours to see if anything bad happened to me. Voila. Nothing. That's a decidedly GOOD thing! I waited at least four hours after eating the normally "offending food" and taking the chromium pill before eating anything else. I was still fine.
