I’ve been using the WHOOP 5.0 for several months now, and it has completely transformed the way I approach recovery, training, and overall wellness. I originally gave this 5 stars, but my experience has deteriorated significantly over time. The device now frequently fails to record telemetry accurately and often reports that it is “off body” when it is being worn correctly. Because of this, large gaps appear in the data, which undermines the core purpose of the product. For an activity and health tracker at this price point, reliable data capture is essential, and unfortunately this has not been my experience long-term. As it currently stands, it’s no longer fit for purpose. --- I picked up the WHOOP 5.0 to get a better handle on recovery and day to day strain, and it has been far more useful than I expected. The data is clear, the app is easy to understand, and the coaching prompts actually feel personalised rather than generic tips. Sleep tracking has been especially helpful. It picked up patterns I wouldn’t have noticed on my own. The band itself is light and comfortable. I forget I’m wearing it most of the time. The charging system is clever too. Being able to slide the charger on without taking the band off makes it simple to keep topped up, and the battery genuinely lasts a long time. If you want something focused on lifestyle trends, recovery and daily insights rather than a smartwatch with apps, this is a very solid choice.

Excellent Fitness Tracker with Impressive Accuracy
