What is the difference between this watch (prw-6600y-2cr) and the prg-600yb-2cr? there is a significant price difference on amazon.

The prw-6600y-2cr has atomic time keeping (multiband-6). The prg-600yb-2cr does not have atomic time keeping.

Why is this watch now $100 more than it was a month ago??

The price on this watch fluctuates. I don't know why amazon does this but likely to offset revolving discounts on other products.

Where is this watch made? Is it made in China?

Casio Products are manufactured in factories located in Japan, China, Thailand, and Malaysia according to factory specifications.

How do I know this watch is a genuine Protrek?

I would think that you’d be getting the watch with all the Casio paperwork and guarantee. I would doubt there’d be a way someone could supply all the Casio paperwork and packaging and enclose a counterfeit watch. I love mine. Also, you could probably call Casio and they could guarantee authenticity.
