After using it for two years and 3 months it suddenly stopped working. I checked to make sure the battery wasn't dead (it was almost fully charged the day before), but it didn't respond at all, the display wouldn't turn on. After such a large investment, I didn't expect this. I wouldn't recommend it because of its short lifespan, but it always worked very well.

I bought this as a replacement for my aging Braun Series 5 Model 8000 that I bought when it first came out. At the time, it was pretty much the top of the line and it has served me well for many, many years. Aside from the clipper in back, which finally snapped, it still works, though it really shows its age. Over the years, I replaced the blades and foil many times and I decided that the next time I needed to replace the foil & cutter assembly, I'd just get a brand new razor. I expected the Series 9 Pro+ to be an improvement, but I was surprised by how big of an improvement it is. I deliberately didn't shave for a few days just before receiving the razor, to put it to the test. The Series 5 would have been uncomfortable at this length and I would normally have done a pass with the clipper first to give it a hand. I gave the Series 9 no chance and set it straight to the days-old beard, and it went through so smoothly that, for a second, I wondered if the foil had just slid over my beard, but no. The beard was gone where the razor passed. I was quite impressed. Now, while this is the best electric razor I've ever tried, it still doesn't stand up to a fresh razor blade. The shave isn't as close as a blade (and we shouldn't really expect it to be), and while the first pass does a good job, I need to do multiple passes to get my skin feeling smooth, especially in the throat area. But it's still fast and comfortable. I alternate between a blade when I show my face to people, and the electric razor on lazy days. This Series 9 will probably get a few shifts on non-lazy days.

It's both fast and powerful, making quick work of my grooming routine without tugging or pulling. The great battery life means I rarely have to worry about recharging mid-shave, even with daily use. A full charge lasts for numerous shaves, offering significant convenience. Furthermore, the included cleaning station makes maintenance incredibly easy and completely hands-free. It automatically cleans, lubricates, dries, and charges the razor after each use. This comprehensive automation simplifies my routine immensely, ensuring the razor is always hygienic, sharp, and fully charged for its next use. It literally does everything for me, taking all the hassle out of post-shave care. I am so thoroughly impressed and satisfied with this electric razor that I could never conceive of going back to any other shaver again (unless, of course, Braun releases an even better iteration of this model!). While it's not the cheapest option on the market, for me, its unmatched performance, superior closeness, exceptional convenience, and comprehensive cleaning solution make it worth every penny. It's not just a razor; it's an investment in a consistently superior grooming experience that provides professional-level results at home.

J'utilise un rasoir de la série 7 (790cc) depuis de nombreuses années. J'ai dû changer la grille plusieurs fois. Au cours des dernières années, j'ai aussi eu à magasiner un rasoir pour mes deux garçons et les essais successifs des nouvelles séries 5 (rapportée au magasin), série 6 (est resté dans la boîte) et série 8 (utilisé par mon plus vieux) m'ont laissé perplexe. Aucun ne se compare à mon 790cc. Ils sont souvent trop peu puissants, tirent les poils plutôt que les couper, n'ont pas de trimmer intégré et/ou ou une base de nettoyage disfonctionnelle. Lorsque récemment, le trimmer de mon série 7 a rendu l'âme, j'ai commencé à être inquiet sur ma capacité à le remplacer par un équivalent. J'ai commencé à lire les critiques, et j'ai arrêté mon choix sur ce Series 9 Pro+. Quelqu'un le comparait à l'ancienne série 7, et j'aimais aussi le trimmer à l'endos que j'avais déjà eu sur une version précédente et qui me semblait plus durable. J'ai choisi le modèle 9567 pour avoir le trimmer, la base nettoyante, et je ne tenais pas à avoir un étui de recharge. Après quelques semaines d'usage, je dois dire que le rasoir rempli ses promesses. Je n'ai pas réutilisé mon 790cc. Les plus: - Moins bruyant que le 790cc. - Coupe une bonne partie de la barbe de 3-4 jours en une seule passe. - J'ai l'impression qu'il rase d'un peu plus près que mon ancien rasoir. - Aucune occurence de poils tirés. - Le trimmer fonctionne bien. - La base est plus compacte et semble prendre moins d'espace sur le comptoir. Les moins: - Le tête est un peu plus épaisse que la tête du 790cc. Cela rend le travail de finition un peu plus difficile sous le nez, par exemple. On doit le faire au trimmer. - Certains poils isolés plus longs (dans le cou, par exemple), demandent plusieurs passes pour être coupés, mais c'est peut-être ma technique qui n'est pas adaptée. En bref, je suis content. J'ai retrouvé un rasoir récent avec un bon rendement, et le trimmer me semble moins fragile que sur le 790cc, ce qui signifie que je l'aurai pour plusieurs années.
