The official rating for this sub is 29-120hz. Let me tell you, it goes much lower. It can put out around 18hz at about 70db. It goes low and remains clear. The mid range (30-60hz) is louder and more powerful, but this sub goes low enough that you can feel the LFEs. It is a beast and the best sub I've owned. I had the Yamaha NS-sw500 that is rated 20-160hz. But the klipsch goes lower and sounds better across the board.Cannot go wrong with this sub.
