Arrived in the Netherlands & Ants Love It
So far, so good. About 4 days in and I’m still seeing plenty of ants, but I believe I’m dealing with a very large colony. The ants are highly attracted to the bait and start feeding on it almost immediately. I’ve been applying small fresh drops in the morning and evening, and the number of ants seems to be gradually decreasing. It’s too early to judge the final result, but so far I’m impressed with how well they accept the bait. Shipping from the US to the Netherlands was also faster than expected. There was no tracking information at first, which had me worried, but it eventually arrived well packed and in good condition.

No more carpenter ants!
As soon as I found their entrance, I immediately put a pea size down and 30 minutes later they started feeding on it. I’ve been using this product for 5 years and works excellent. The first time I saw carpenter ants coming through the baseboards and cracks in the floor where I live, I decided to try this stuff because the ants just completely ignored and pushed the Terro baits and every other bait products I put down. I applied the gel (which was 5 years ago) and got rid of most of them in 3 days. They ate on it for 3 days and had to refill the stations about 3 times. Got some residuals after, but they were completely eradicated after a month, so patience is key, they are relentless! This kept them away for 5 years! I started applying it once a year to prevent them from coming back. Then a new colony found another way in and had to buy more and got the same results. I would recommend putting it directly in their entry and exit points (follow their trail so you can see where they coming from) so they have to eat it in order to get through, and prevents them from further invading the area, gets rid of them quicker! Some ants are not necessarily looking for food first, they forage first, especially for debris, so keep that in mind. Their diet may be protein based and not anything sweet, (keep that in mind as well) that’s why basic bait traps don’t work as well sometimes. The product itself is easy to use, no mess unless you put a lot down in areas where debris and traffic can get on it. It’s durable and won’t be buying any other product.

¡Mata las colonias de hormigas Argentinas!
This stuff works, and in very small applications. Terro is nice because it is non-toxic to people and the like, but it provides only temporary relief. This material seems to kill off entire colonies... it has eliminated a chronic problem with Argentine ants.

Ants are gone.
We used it for only a couple of days, and the ants are gone.

Advion, take them away!
I had always used another popular tray product before, but in my new place (same neighborhood even), that product was no longer working on ants. They filled up the trays with their bodies, and we got some temporary relief, but they always seemed to come back. I tried another product recommended online, but it also didn't seem to make a dent. I saw someone recommend Advion on a reddit pest control thread, so I decided to give it a shot. It definitely works, but you need to be patient and apply the gel regularly because once it hardens, the ants are less likely to go for it. In my experience, when I put it out, I would see tens of ants for a few days, and then fewer, and then hundreds of ants, and then fewer, and then eventually a huge swarm of ants. When the swarm came, I put out a lot more Advion in small strips and pea-sized blobs to increase the total surface area that they could encounter. In the case of one swarm, I made a small grid pattern with the gel dots. I also found it helpful to place the gel as close to the entrance of the nest as possible. I ended up needing to eliminate seven colonies of two different species, and the process took a couple of months, but we have been ant-free for a month for the first time in ages. Feel very confident that I can use this product for any ants that show up in the future.
