It worked for what I needed

Simple, easy to use. I use these in conjunction with infrared thermometers and environmental sensors to monitor heat coming from server rooms. They're simple enough to setup in different locations. They're not my first line of defense, but they can sense temperature fluctuations quickly. As far as accuracy, the mini thermometers give me the same reading as my ETEKCITY infrared thermometer & environmental sensors. The size is small, which works for me, sometimes I need to get into tighter areas that my infrared thermometer can't get to for one reason or another. The thermometer size is 2.24" x 1.61" x 0.57" so "mini" is the correct description of this item. I think the only way to make this product better would be to mark them all smart devices so I can leave some in place when I'm testing environmental sensors for accuracy and check on them in an app. But for for $3.50/each, this does the trick and it's so simple to use you won't regret purchasing it.

These are excellent quality hygrometers. I have several hygrometers throughout my home as I keep a lot of plants, and these were just as accurate as more expensive models. They're a couple degrees off, but not bad. They're extremely responsive and don't take a long time to show the most current humidity or temperature level. They're also nice and compact, but not so tiny like other brands that you can't even read them at a distance. These are just the perfect size and they work very well and look nice.

Since the word "hygrometer" appears in the title of this item before "thermometer," I'll rate it 5 stars. Just be aware that the big number on the display is humidity, and the small number is temperature. So if humidity is what you're more interested in, these are great. To test accuracy, I placed both units next to my Nest Thermostat. As you can see in the photo, accuracy was well within the advertised range of +/- 1.8 degrees...assuming that the thermostat is accurate, of course! Simple to use. The method of switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit is obvious -- just press the clearly labelled button on the back. The min/max feature is a nice extra, and it was easy to guess that long pressing the button would reset it.

I have a sealed tote I keep filament in and also keep a hygrometer in it to keep tabs on the moisture. In the picture the filament is in vacuum sealed bags but eventually it will all go directly into the tote without the bags. I have also added an evo-dry to keep them dry, but these hygrometers are very accurate and use a common 2032 button battery that is included. They last a lot longer than the smaller ones. It also has a magnet and a fold down foot if you would like it to stand. It can be switched from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and MAX/MIN button for Records if you do that. Comes with instructions if needed. I would recommend.

My house is old and has a rubble foundation and sump pump. Humidity can sometimes get too high in the house and that's not comfortable or healthy. I like to be able to monitor the humidity around my home in several areas, so I have several hygrometers. In the picture, the two items in this listing are on the left. They are both reading the same, and they are in line with the other devices, so I can safely say they are quite accurate. They were easy to use out of the box, simply pull the plastic tab from under the battery and it starts working immediately. I love that they have magnets. Excellent little devices, I'm pleased with them.

When they said "mini" in the product description, they meant it. This is a very small unit where the humidity display is 2cm (approx. 3/4") and the temperature display is only 1cm (approx. 3/8"). For me, it would have been a lot more useful to have reversed this. On the other hand, for a non-backlit LCD, the display is quite clear with no loss when viewed from side angles, which can be a problem with some LCD displays. The unit operates on a coin battery (included (thank you!)) and given the low price of these, a replacement battery may cost more than the purchase price of the thermometer. I put the two units side by side with another thermometer and they were all within a half degree F of each other. The humidity differed by about 2% between the two units which is good enough for casual use.
