The before looks awful (sorry! LOL.) but the terrible texture was from the rasp that I was using to get rid of the hard skin after just soaking it in water. After 3 uses, my foot looks like on the after. There is still a bit of cracked skin but only cuz it's a bit hard for me to rasp on that area. I would totally recommend this product! It helps to soften the dry skin very well. How I use it is put the gel on the callous after soaking my feet, and leave it for 6-7 mins. Make sure you're using a glove and that you don't get the gel on other soft skin as it will sting! The sting feels a bit like a mild road rash. Just gently rinse it off if you get any on your soft skin when it starts stinging. Once the 7min is up, I rinse off the gel and then quickly rasp the dead skin. Amazing product where has this been all my life. I use this just to not get build up of skin my feet. I put on my heels before I buff with the purple blocks - amazing! And no peeling after like those silly foot peels. This is the best.
