Too powerful and noisy for my Veiled Chameleon.
Not sure about older reptiles but the vibration, which literally threw the dried insect completely off of the bowl and the very loud chirping scared my full grown veiled chameleon. Great concept, just too have a way to control the force and sound!

TOO loud and vibrates wildly. Also had corrosion in the remote case and spent money on the batteries only to find out it frightened the gecko. Now its non returnable so Im stuck with $38 investment in a dish that i cant use. Save your MONEY! look for mine on e bay lol

Works, but my Beardie has no interest
Unlike these other reviews, this item works fine for me. It's never stopped working suddenly and it would be great if the loud vibrating didn't freak out my lizard.

DO NOT BUY
Product is old and broken. It doesn't work without the remote, and the batteries in the remote exploded and ruined the device. The product didn't come in proper packaging. The seller is ripping people off... please do not buy this item. Amazon will not help you either.

Awesome but not Practical
This product is awesome however for all of my fellow beardie owners most will not take to this device and most will not eat kibble but this gadget is awesome to have nevertheless. I would love the remote it came with to be a toggle rather than having to keep pressing it.

It didn't arrive broken, defective, or useless
The remote and device both work just fine. No scary loud vibration either, my hatchling beardies aren't phased by it. It does, however, chirp like a very fake loud cricket which is just awkward! So over all it's a good product it just needs a little less creativity in the design department.

DO NOT ORDER THIS
First, I want to say that I do not put up many comments on Amazon, but this seller deserves a whopper. My son opened this present on Christmas morning. The box had been damaged on each corner when I recieved it, but I was hopeful about it being only cosmetic. Nope. He opened it up and the can of dried bugs was crushed and the label torn off, like it got CHEWED. When we tried to put batteries in and realized that the batteries in the remote were leaking from sitting too long. Needless to say, this is a hunk of junk...even if it did originally work it was an embarassing gift to give. This must had been returned and sold again.

Corroded Batteries. Does not work.
The batteries were so corroded they damaged the remote. It cannot be used without the remote. The seller agreed to a refund, but it was never received.

Functional, but could do with a few small design improvements
The feeding dish serves a purpose, but the rubber tray insert is too shallow and pellets or similar feed will quite quickly bounce out of the tray insert - so you'll need to be ready to both clean this up reguarly and remove errant food from the remote's receiver on the dish. (One solution is to mix pellets or other firm feed with some greenery or larger feed but this, to some degree, defeats the purpose of having the dish in the first place).In my case, the item had clearly been in storage for a while as there was a degree of light corrosion on the battery terminal/contacts which needed to be removed before the item would function.Finally, the feeding dish's remote only works over a relatively short distance.Overall, not particularly impressed but it's functional and serves a purpose.

Conforme à la description en plus ni tro grand ni tro petit.Il faut accoutumer mon python...il ne capte pa pour l'instant voir flippe un pe mai avec du temps et de la méthode ça devrait aller nickel.

Exo Terra Vivicator Vibrating Feeding Dish THIS PRODUCT IS VERY VERY LOUD,WHEN IT VIBRATES IT CHUCKS FOOD OUT (DRIED PELLETS)ALL OVER THE TANK IT LASTED ONE DAY THEN BROKE.WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH SENT BACK TO INTERNET REPTILE COST ME £7.50 POSTAGE THEY WOULD NOT REFUND COST OF POSTAGE EVEN IF PRODUCT WAS FAULTY AGAINST THE LAW NOW THEY CLAIM ITS BEEN LOST IN THE POST BEWARE OF THIS SELLER!!!INTERNET REPTILE

Interessant :-)
Ich hatte mir den Vivicator für meine Bartagame bestellt.Er kam auch schnell an.Er funktionierte leider nicht,trotz wechseln der Batterie.Habe mit dem Verkäufer Kontakt aufgenommen und direkt ein anderes Gerät zugeschickt bekommen was auch funktioniert.Vielen dank dafür nochmal.Zum Gerät kann ich sagen das es schön anzusehen ist.Habe es ins Terrarium gestellt und der Bartagame reagiert zwar aber ist skeptisch :-).Es ist auch ziemlich laut.Mal sehen was die nächsten Tage bringen.
