Easy to make
My cat personally didn’t like it but overall the cake itself was a 10/10 was very easy to make and quick and was super cute and cool for a birthday cake as a pet I really enjoyed this for my pet.

My cat who eats everything would not touch this
My cat eats literally everything without complaint; even meds.He did not eat this cake.It doesn't come with all the ingredients either, nor does it inform you that you needed more stuff to make it.In the nicest way, it would probably be better to just buy a special can of wet food your cat likes, put a few treats on top as "sprinkles" and maybe a little bit of whipped cream (yes, cats can have whipped cream in small amounts), and there's the cake

Pros and cons
Pros and consPROS: The “cakes” turned out super cute I was afraid it would get stuck in the mold but I was able to slide them all out. The frosting was easy to do I didn’t use even half of it and made sure to just put a little.. they looked like actual fish shaped cakesCONS: my cat hated them. She wouldn’t even lick them they were apparently that awful I even mixed in a package of her favorite chicken treat but still nothing she wouldn’t eat them so after the initial pictures and singing I threw them away and gave her a can of food. Also they made our microwave smell horrible I had to clean it out with vinegar and still the smell lingered for a couple daysSo if you’re just wanting to capture some pictures and sing these will do

Adorable Concept, My Cat Loved It Even though I Messed It Up lol
I give this 5 stars because the idea of this product is so cute, and I really wanted to make something special for my furbaby’s birthday. I’ll be honest though, I’m pretty sure the failure was on me, not the product. The prep process felt like a bit of a hassle, and I got frustrated, so I ended up giving it to my cats without fully finishing it or adding the icing. They still ate about a fourth of it, which is a win in my book. The smell wasn’t great, but cat food rarely is, and the day was about her, not me. If I buy it again, I’ll make sure to follow the steps correctly because the concept is adorable and the included tray mold is actually really useful. Worst case, I can use the mold to shape regular canned pâté into cute little fish shapes and top it with treats.

A very happy cat, just let your microwave air out
Our cat absolutely loved these little cakes. We gave him half of a cake at a time over several days, mixed with some gravy. The packaging is easy to open, and the instructions are clear. It was easy to make the mixes, we used a tiny bit more water for the icing than the packaging recommended to make it easier to spread. I will say, the odor of cooking them was strong. Highly recommend leaving your microwave open for a while afterwards to air out and let it dissipate. Once they're out of the microwave it's not bad in the open air, but our microwave definitely had a funky smell for a little bit afterwards. Our cat liked the cakes initially, but they are a bit dry and unwieldy (for a little dude with no thumbs haha), so we actually cut the half cakes into smaller pieces and mixed in a little bit of gravy to soften it up. He LOVED that. Very cute product. Worth a try! And cheap enough that if your cat is picky and doesn't like them it's not a huge loss.
