This is slower than old school AOL dial up Internet. It claims 600mbps but in reality it gets between 5-60kbps. I get the concept of you get what you pay for but this is a joke. It can’t even get 1mbps. The size is awesome and works as it should, other than the speed. This is false advertising at its best. Don’t waste your time.

Good little device for traveling. Easy to set up. It needs its own sim card. It takes less than a minute after turning it on to connect to my carrier. The signal is good and stable. Easy to use.

I really wanted to like this device, considering the price and look and feel. Love the rubberish back panel to prevent slipping out of hand or off the table. However, I tried 3 different sim cards and none of them worked with the device. I would recommend the seller be more specific with which sim card brands will work with this device. Also, a little inconvenient that there is no sim card slot; you have to take off the cover and take out the battery to switch sim cards. I'd say I know the price is hard to resist, but be cautious knowing which sim cards can be used before purchasing.

Too soon to say for sure (3 hours), but after a difficult SIM card installation I was in the dark as to how to set it up, so I did the typical Claude thing and got some steps to take. After a bit of messing around I got it up and running. I wasn't sure if this would work with Tello, but it does. Hint: go through the menu to find the names of the two network connection names. The password is there too. I don't know how to change it. Set up and running. Speedtest.org gave a rave connectivity rating and then a so-so one, but all in all things are looking good. It kept shutting itself off, but I charged it fully and it seems to be staying on now. If it keep doing what it's doing, it's a winner. If not, I'll post an update.

This thing is terrible. It overheats itself to a point where i can barely touch it. If its not plugged in 24/7 it only lasts a few hours of very light usage. ***EDIT*** There is an "eco" setting. Turn that OFF. It stopped overheating and lasts about 10 hours.

I needed an unlocked hotspot and selected this one as it looked well built and a larger battery Spec says UNLOCKED It did not work with any SIM i inserted, tried 3 carriers and the display said no SIM every time.
