---update!!--- The one problem I had with this stuff is solved! The one way valve makes it hard to control how much comes out.... Just unscrew the cap and it works perfectly!---- ____ This is the stuff to put on your tattoo as it is healing. This stuff works differently than just lotion. It is cooling which is nice for itching and it moisturizes well. It creates a film over the tattoo that keeps it moisturized longer. If you are wearing loose clothes or if the tattoo is in an open area its perfect stuff..... If it is in an area that has tighter clothes or if your clothes have any lint it is a bit of a sticky mess. I had it on my thigh while I was sleeping and woke up with linty sticky mess that I had to wash off my leg. It was like a patch of felt on my leg. It was kind of funny, but I wont use it there again. Also my clothes would stick to it there. It was perfect on my ankle and my wrist. Also the container is...difficult. it has a one way valve in it which is kinda good as it keeps air from getting in and it keeps longer. However if you have a small tattoo, get ready to Always have too much. You have to put enough force on the tube that you cant just get a tiny little dot of the stuff you have to put enough force to make the valve disengage and you have a quarter sized splotch every time. So I really like this stuff....when it works..... And now it will because I can just unscrew the cap and get exactly what I need!

I just got inked up for the first time (I’m 31 year old male). My tattooo artist recommended taking the patch off the next morning and cleaning it with dial soap, damping blood off fresh ink and let it air dry, then apply lotion after a week. Which is what I did, my gangar tattoo(first time tattoo) got bloody and would have to apply a paper towel to soak up the blood after the first couple of days, I also got a mild itch but did not scratch it, let it air dry and noticed my tattoo would crust up and shed. 2 weeks in I saw an ad on IG and thought I give it a try for my next appointment (2 week after my first tattoo). I decided to go all out and get big pieces on my next appointment, I used it for the first time on these new ones( haunter and they live picture) Immediately after suing it, I noticed a HUGE difference, I didn’t not bleed out my leg like my first time, and mind you these are way bigger and a lot more detailed than my gangar one, I cleaned it with dial soap and applied the product right after damping my skin with a paper towel and noticed that my tattoo area was not itchy at all or oozed out any blood, kept it nice and moisturized without adding lotion, this is a gel. I don’t how how it works tbh but it’s like how it traps all the moisture into your tattoo, without letting any blood or dead skin out, it’s crazy but definitely works. Again, this is my first time stepping into this realm and 100% recommend trying this product out to prevent any itchy or dry skin from occurring. Your spending so much on art on your body, might as well spend a couple bucks to ease the process. Highly recommend for anyone getting a tattoo, I am going to get several more and will definitely be buying more of these. I’m excited to use more of thier products, but for now I will stick will dial soap and this for the next day recovery, instructions say 14 days but I think after 10 days or even a week it should be good. Currently 3 days in and could tell a huge difference in recovery process.

I love this stuff. It is cooling and soothing on a fresh tattoo. It is a clear gel so it goes on smooth and absorbs in nicely. I use it every time I get new ink.

Best tattoo aftercare I've ever used! I had a tattoo that wasn't healing because of a reaction to red that was constantly itching, burning, and raised. My usual methods were doing nothing so I tried some different products and landed on this one and let me tell you it is a lifesaver! It burns a little going on but I felt relief within minutes. My tattoo ended up healing fine after weeks of suffering. I used it for my next tattoo and put it on the night after getting it (after washing) and felt ZERO pain all night and the next morning it was clean and dry. No stickiness, oozing, greasiness, etc. I'm not usually one to try tattoo-specific products because of the cost (good ole aquaphor then lubriderm was always my go-to) but this is such a game changer, it's worth the cost!

Best product for healing a fresh tattoo. I have bought a bunch of this brands products and they work so well and are exactly in my price range. I like that the packaging is small enough for my to fly with since I travel frequently. My skin is fairly sensitive so I like that their formulas don’t irritate my skin.

I’m an “old school” tattoo person I guess because I’m old and I remember a world before tattoo products existed and we used A&D ointment, if we were lucky :) so I was very hesitant to buy new tattoo products that promise the world. There was one or two audible grumbles when I finally bought this but SURPRISE, I’m glad I did. I have very pale and sensitive skin and recently my tattoos have been getting a little crispy. More than normal. I’d been using natural skin oil (coconut, etc) and eucerin and found they werent really encouraging healing. I got my calf done and nothing really helped sooth it and it was especially problematic in the morning when I got out of bed and it was dry, it didn’t feel great. No longer wanting to suffer in silence I tried this ointment and I was completely shocked at how good it is. It soothe my tattoos, keeps the colors nice and seems to encourage healing. I don’t know if their 14 day guarantee is exactly accurate but I found my tattoos were less problematic and seemed to heal better and faster when using this ointment. I’m a convert for sure. I used this for my last three tattoos over about two months and it worked great from right after session to healed. A couple downsides that lost a star from me: 1. This feels sticky in my hand. I have to wash it off my hands after applying which can be inconvenient. 2. Seems like the bottle doesn’t have that much and I burn through it pretty fast. I’d say it has 4-5 tattoos worth in it. 3. There is something with the design of the bottle, the pigment doesn’t come out easy. When I squeeze it, it builds up pressure and it shoots out fast. Must be some design flaw. Really a solid four star product. Very happy customer here.

This is likely the fastest recovery I've had from a tattoo. Mad Rabbit is a thin water soluble gel. Does not require pressure to apply. Rinses off hands easily.

I don't usually write reviews and I've used many creams and ointments this gel works, it doesn't dry oily and doesn't stick to the sheets or leave ink on the sheets either. It's a game changer, I just put in on a few times a day and I don't scab anymore all my tattoos heal really good now.

I thought I’d read the reviews prior to buying and as I saw sooo many great reviews I thought I’d buy it, ( big mistake) Comes out as a water liquid, no solid gel formula like the product has expired. Doesn’t stop itching and doesn’t soothe the skin like they say. Just drys out my new full sleeve tattoo. So unhappy I spent $60 for this.

Works perfectly, just be careful to apply a small amount of gel and gently distribute it on your tattoo

This gel has been amazing in my healing process with my full arm tattoo and is the best cream I have used so far.

It does a good job of moisturising the tattoo and gives it a nice shine.
