Very high value for money.
This is probably the best acoustic guitar I have ever played that is made in China. The all wood construction and quality mahogany tone wood really really gives this instrument a great sound. I have been playing on and off for 20 years and this is the best sounding acoustic I have owned. It is not a dreadnought and won't boom across a room. But you still get a balanced and suitably loud volume from this smaller body style. I am really impressed with the sound dynamics of this guitar. I purchased mine lightly used but in excellent condition. I have tried more expensive Martin and Taylor entry grade guitars and they don't come close. Unless you pay the premium for the higher end of the big two brands you are only paying for the brand. Not worth it. For a sub $1000 all solid wood guitar with a high quality electro-acoustic system, the Yamaha can't be beat. Comes with a premium gig bag.

Great for gigging and worship…
Beautiful build and surprising quality right out of the box. I was very impressed. For the price, I would highly recommend it over many other brands. Plays well and looks/sounds amazing.

Playability issues
Love the tone of this guitar. Big and resonant. BUT... it is very hard to play because the 'action' is so high. I am having it worked on to improve this aspect of the guitar at a cost of about $180 (which is close to the price of the guitar). This is probably a problem you'd run into with any inexpensive guitar. I decided to buy it because it has good reviews, but I think I would seriously question who actually wrote those views.

Buzzes. A lot. Do not buy this model series
Definitely buzzes a whole f-ing lot like more than any guitar I’ve owned. The size of the guitar was definitely weird considering I was excepting a guitar the same size as the compass series I owned before. Did I mention this guitar buzzes like crazy. No guitar should buzz straight from the factory that’s what you get for. Japanese guitar brand made in China though

This is a verynice guitar
I love this guitar, I'm very happy with my purchase. I am only disappointed that the seller did not slacken the strings before shipment, lucky for me there was no damage to the neck. It plays very nice, and looks and sounds like an instrument with a higher price tag. I plan on keeping this in my collection for a very long time.
