Impressive!
I'm really impressed with the Ninja Creami...! I have another ice cream maker, but it's the kind where you have to freeze the bowl-- and to be honest it just never worked that well for me (constantly had to scrape the sides) plus it took up a lot of space in my freezer. So I saw the Ninja Creami on YouTube and was convinced enough to order one. I just made my first frozen yogurt pints and wow! they all came out GREAT. I'm a seasoned cook, so I'm inventing my own recipes for gelato, ice cream, custard, and frozen yogurt. The Creami is easy to operate and a breeze to clean the paddle and lid (these are the only things that need to be washed after using the unit-- and of course the pint jar when you're done eating your frozen treat). It is NOT a "messy" machine at all, just the opposite. I read that some reviewers have said the machine is too loud. I have not found this the case at all-- it just sounds like a blender. I was bracing for earplugs when I first turned it on, but was pleasantly surprised that it was no louder than a typical kitchen blender. While the paddle is rotating down, the machine is very stable with no vibrations-- rock solid. So far I've made chocolate frozen yogurt, pineapple frozen yogurt, coconut ice cream, and maple vanilla cinnamon custard ice cream. These have all been my own recipes and they have all come out super delicious and creamy. A tip: buy yourself more of the pint containers-- spend an hour making different mixes and then freeze in bulk to always have a frozen container ready to pop in the machine. I can already tell that this is going to be a frequently used appliance in my kitchen! A-plus, highly recommend! UPDATE: The more I use this machine the more I love it. Everyone who tastes my frozen creations says it's the best thing they've ever had. I'm having an absolute blast coming up with new and unusual flavors...Orange Creamsicle, Cafe au lait frozen yogurt, Basil-infused Lemon sherbet, Black licorice gelato, Mocha Tofutti, Mint & Dark Chocolate Chip frozen yogurt, Honey Blueberry "tofutti" gelato, Balsamic Mixed Berry frozen yogurt, Pumpkin Spice custard, Lemon Cheesecake gelato, Strawberry Shortcake frozen yogurt, Black Cherry Pie gelato, and Lavendar-infused Honey Strawberry gelato are some of the many flavors I've come up with so far. There is one review on here stating that you can only use two fruits for sorbet with the Creami: bananas and oranges... this is FALSE!! You can use any fruit you want, just keep in mind that you need to blend whatever fruit you are using in with your base. The Cream cannot break up large chucks of solid frozen fruit. The fruit you use in the base can either be used fresh or you can reduce it on the stove with some sweetener of choice if you like. Either way, you WILL need to blend it in with your base before freezing the pint container. I've had a few potential buyers ask the same question-- "Do you need to put cream cheese in every recipe?" No, you do not!!! You can take, say, a regular sorbet fruit base and add a small amount of milk, plant based milk, silken tofu, half & half, yogurt, or cream cheese to make a creamy based sherbert/ice cream/gelato/tofutti/frozen yogurt. Silken tofu comes out especially creamy and I sneak a good chunk or two into most of my recipes. You can also add a tablespoon or two of instant pudding mix... regular or sugar-free. I mix my recipes up in my Nutribullet blender... I've used a sharpie to determine where a pint is on the large blending cup and I just add my ingredients until I come to that line, then I screw on the blade and blend it, then pour into a Creami's pint containers. This works great for me because I just eyeball my ingredients to taste. I really try to control sugar in my cooking so I just put enough in to slightly sweeten. You can use honey, agave syrup, brown rice syrup, maple syrup, sweetened condensed milk, and brown sugar as white sugar substitutes. The flavor combinations are limitless. Seriously, this machine turns out some of the best gelato, ice cream, and frozen yogurt that I've ever had!!

Dairy Free desserts with the SharkNinja CREAMi
Loving this ice-cream maker. Arrived yesterday and works like a charm. Easy set up and operation. It comes with one pint container (with lid), instruction manual, and creami recipe book. I bought 4 extras pints for just over $20 at the same time. I have used the sorbet and ice-cream settings and It works excellent. It has a remix and mix in features that make extra blends and adding items in a breeze. It appears to cut the frozen mix into tiny crystals. The fresh raspberry sorbet and pina colada icecream was delicious. It's a time saver compared to how I used to make my dairy free ice-creams. DF is very expensive - this machine is great! Works for milk based and plant based icecreams. My freezer is very cold, so left the mix out at room temp before making the icecream. It definitely does not need to freeze for 24 hours at all. Mine was a used Warehouse item - it had not even been used. The plastic was still on the sides. No marks, no blemished, simply a new box. For $88, it was a steal of a deal. TY Update: it's now been several months of vegan icecream & I'm still loving this machine. Easy cleanup - works like a charm.

Perfect for Making Specialty Pints at Home! Love the High-Protein Ice Cream I Make with This :)
This is the best! I really like to eat specialty-type ice creams, like those with zero sugar, milk substitutes, and high-protein blends. They're pretty tough to find in grocery stores, and they always cost an arm and a leg. I got this to solve my issue with this lol, and will probably break even on this (vs grocery store pints) by month 3. I'm also a high-volume user, as I host a ton of events, including cocktail parties, dinner parties, etc. and really love that I can make custom flavors for my guests. I use ice cream and gelato (especially in desserts, affogatos, etc.) frequently while hosting, so this is a major time-saver and $$-saver vs going to the grocery store imo. My only gripe with this is that it is very loud. Keep this away from walls you share with neighbors, and don't use it late at night. This is really easy to get set up and going. I mix my ingredients in a separate bowl, pour them into the creami pint, let them freeze overnight (instructions say 24h, but mine are usually done in less), and pop it into the creami machine and let it do its job. It's done super fast -- less than 5 minutes on normal ice cream setting. I often pop the ice cream into the microwave for about 30 sec beforehand as the machine tends to shake and make weird noises if the ice cream is put in freshly frozen. It feels pretty durable and like it could handle those, but I find that this also makes the ice cream slightly softer and scoopable after, and that it blends better as well. This is a pretty high-performance machine imo -- besides struggling with the harder / super frozen pints, it can take a lot. I've run multiple batches of ice creams through it in a row (just rinsing the lid and churner) with no issues. I've also definitely operated this thing while the pint is slightly over the max fill line, and fortunately all that's happened is that some ice cream has escaped containment. It's great at breaking up frozen fruits, though with alrger ones (think whole strawberries) I do usually have to run the mix-in setting twice to really break things up. It's really easy to clean as well. I rarely have to clean any more than the lid and churner / blender thing after using the machine, but I usually just hand wash the blender thing and pop the lid in the dishwasher. SO quick and easy! I do the same for the pint and the pint lid. The machine itself is absolutely HUGE tbh -- It's actually only a bit thicker than a toaster imo, but it's really tall. Some people with lower cabinets might struggle with fitting this in their kitchen. I just keep it out because I use it multiple times a week, and find that it doesn't look bad on my counter and isn't excessively distracting or anything. It's a pretty sleek machine and blends right in. I've tried a few other NINJA products including this one and a few other versions of CREAMi that my friends and I have. I actually have another one -- the scoop & swirl -- that I use pretty much exclusively for soft serve during my parties, but find it too big on my counter (under my cabinets, and it's pretty wide) for everyday use. This one is just the right size though! Overall, I think this is a great ice cream machine. It's really fun to experiment with flavors and other ingredients, and I love how quickly it makes the ice cream. It's ready so quickly in the machine! This is a higher-end kitchen gadget and will likely save me $ over time on specialty pints, so imo this is a great value item. 5 stars!

So many possibilities
Just throw what you want into the bowl (not ice). Mix it up on whatever setting you prefer. Keep adding ingredients. Then freeze. Remix and eat!! It is awesome. I have not been good at following any of the recipes but we usually use heavy whipping cream, sugar and whatever else we want and it makes anything delicious. If you use frozen fruit, sugar, whipping cream or milk it makes a great smoothie. I love this. Not for the advertised recipes but for all the other possibilities. I can put exactly what I want in my son's desserts and so many other things. It makes a great white sauce for Alfredo or whipped cream for pie. I'm sad my lid came cracked but I should have noticed it before the 30 days was up. I moved and wasn't able to use it until after I had, had it over a month so be sure to check all the pieces right away. It is so easy to clean. We have been able to use it over and over without a huge clean up. The size is perfect for a family of 3. My favorite setting for the creamiest is ice cream. So for it works great and it quick. The ice cream comes out perfectly creamy.

Expensive, but worth it!
I bought this as a gift for my son, and he loves it. My only complaint is how expensive it is, but it produces good quality ice cream in a good quantity.
