The kids love it! Hours of fun

My husband and I just purchased the Cedar Summit Abbeydale Clubhouse for our children. We paid over $1300 for this set and to say I am a bit displeased is an understatement. First thing we noticed right off the bat was that it appeared the forklift must’ve pierced one of the boxes and we hoped it hadn’t damaged the wood, but it had. And of course it was a section that is front and center and can’t be hidden and is a huge gouge. Next a piece of the dormer had a corner broken off and it wasn’t in the box which leads me to believe it was packaged that way. While assembling this monstrous set the hundreds of boards are so poorly stamped that you basically have to measure every piece and hope you’ve got the right one! Totally time consuming and only added much aggravation! And last a package of bolts, very important ones to say the least, was missing from our hardware!! So we had to go to Home Depot and get the closest ones. These are the bolts to attach the swing bar to the clubhouse! Again, very important pieces for my children’s safety and security! To me, this is all just inexcusable. If it was just one thing, ok, but it isn’t and these play sets are not cheap for the consumer but seem to be just haphazardly thrown together by the manufacturer.
