After trying several other options, this is the best. Other, similar shovels lacked in many areas. This hits the mark across the board. The width is perfect for small coops and it really does excel when using sand or similar as bedding. It leaves the good and pulls away the bad. The long forks on the end are the perfect design, which allow you to get into corners very well. I did modify mine but will replace the long handle once I get a bigger coop.

I’ve tried so many different scoops and shovels, rakes, sifters and different tools. By far this one is one of my go to. It’s light weight. Gets most of the poop only misses tiny or broken up pieces. I still use other tools for other smaller jobs or to grab specific things out of the sand like feathers but this one’s great for sand, straw etc. It definitely a top tool for chickens keepers.

This is a total game changer! I have a sand-filled run, and I used to waste so much sand when cleaning because the scoops I had just couldn’t catch all the poop and feathers. I'd end up scooping and dumping a lot of good sand. But now, this new tool filters out the poop perfectly and lets the clean sand pass through. It's not only efficient but also a big relief for my back!
