first of first, it definitely works at usb 3 speeds. i have got around 400MB/s using my nvme ssd with enclosure, good thing but a few bad ones too, like (not sure if this is with only adaptor) reversing the usb c cable does affect the performance. if you are experiencing such issue do try reversing the cable. as i have got 400MB/s on one side and when i flipped the cable i got 40MB/s and no its not the cable, i have tried this with 3 different cables. while attempting to plug in a phone, phone doesn't recognise that it is connected to a pc and simply sits there and charge. now if i filp the cable on the adaptor end wolah it suddenly acts normal, u get your options to data transfer or usb tethering. and no again i am mentioning its not the cable, i have tried out with number of cables which i use on a daily basis with my mac air M2 and have experienced such an issue. so it definitely works but a bit of hassle.

1.) Sturdy and metallic finish. 2.) numbers in papers reflects in real life scenarios. So worth buying 👍👍

Live upto it's name
It's as it is as promised in the product details first I was little worried but it is 10Gbps not exactly as 10Gbps due to bottleneck of my portfolio but I had bought Tuf Nvme enclosure and when I used my own usb c to usb cable it was only given 40MBps but with its c2c cable I got 1000MBps but with this on the include c2c i got the full speed i did not check it's charging ability but for data transfer is exactly as it says i would suggest you to go for this without any second thoughts
