I’ve been using the Clairol Root Touch-Up in Dark Brown (4) for a while now, and it’s truly the best solution for in-between salon visits. The color blends seamlessly with my professionally dyed hair—no harsh line, no obvious “at-home” look. What I think doesn’t get talked about enough is how QUICK and MESS-FREE it is. I've used it for 20 years. Simple, fast, does not dry hair out. Last for almost 6 weeks if you don't rinse with really warm water.

I use this hair dye kit to touch up my hair color regrowth between salon visits. This kit allows me to use just a little at a time, so I get multiple uses out of it, unlike previously tried products where you need to make the entire amount of product at once. Those were more wasteful, since I didn't need the full amount, and would end up throwing out some of it. Being able to use a small amount at a time to target specific new regrowth also makes the process less overwhelming than dyeing my whole head, so I'm more likely to actually get around to it...It saves me money as I can push off going to the salon.
