Yes - Will knock out most grasshoppers and insects. This is a broad spectrum product and not knowing exactly what kind of grasshopper you are are asking about I think it will do the job.

does this work for lady bugs?

Hi, as long as the insect is in contact with the plant that has Sevin on it, it will kill pretty much everything (including bees so be careful not using it too much).

worms in apples
