Yes it’s clear but it looks so dull and foggy after it’s done .You can definitely see the imperfections and cracking.I’m disappointed in this product.In addition, the price was reduced after I purchased the product

Very good product, and I experienced few air bubbles during the setup and drying process. Very clear glass like surface upon drying. Instructions were easy to follow and were very easy to understand every step of this product.

Ok, 5 stars. Why? A great product! It is like glass when solid. It is moderately thin so bubbles come out easily. Ease of use - 3 stars - Might as well know up front, if you are in a hurry, this is not for you. Practice, practice and practice is the key to using this stuff. I probably went through a quart or more just practicing. To back up a bit, this was my first project with it and first time use ever with any clear epoxy. The project was 20”x12’x1.25”. It took multiple mixes and pours, which I did one right after the other. So the cure process was the whole thickness. It does generate a lot of heat. Enough heat that it cause a sheet of plexiglass that I was using as a dust cover over heated and sagged into the resin. I panicked but was able to release the plexiglass from the cured resin with a heat gun and all was OK. My warning is, they say it will heat up, they mean it and be prepared. The cure time is 1 to 2 days at this thickness. Mixing is a big deal with this stuff. When they say mix for 5 min, then pour into another container and mix some more and then mix some more, they mean it. I used wood 1 qt paint sticks, which worked for the 28 oz mixes I did. When I started mixing the resin would turn milky. After a while (over 5 min for me) it would turn clear. But I could still see wispy threads through the mixture. So more mixing. Then there was the pour into a second container and more mixing. At least 10 min of mixing per batch. A trick I found to keep bubble out was to set one of the paint sticks in the mixing container before pouring in the resins. Then pour the resins onto the stick and let it run down the stick. I did this with the base resin and the hardener. And then I did the some thing to pour the mixture into what I was making. Hope this helps. I did practice with a few thin pours (less than a half inch). These took at least 3 days to cure. So, while it could be used for that, it would be better to use their other product. So a great product, but takes slow and careful effort to use.

I've been working with resin for close to a decade now and I purchased this one due to my regular brand being temporarily unavailable. after trying it, here are what I consider the pros and cons - Pros: -SUPER thin viscosity so really easy to mix & releases bubbles really well for the pieces that are too large to cure in my pressure pot -really not too much of an odor -does cure absolutely crystal clear & the shore hardness seems adequate.. although.. CONS: -shore hardness not actually listed anywhere, so you just have to kinda guess -it shrinks ALOT during curing. more than any other brand of deep pour that I've tried -because of said shrinkage, you cannot get away with pouring thinner layers (I had some left over after my main pour so I decided to pour a thin base layer in another mold - yes, I'm aware it takes longer to cure & that was fine with me - but the layer ended up curing with very noticeable ripples and lines clearly starting from the outer edges and moving towards the center, which is how I know it was from the shrinkage. the one I poured to depth was totally fine & crystal clear) - significantly more expensive than other high quality brands due to the cons & the price point, I think I'll stick with my go-to, Unicone Art Masterclass Extra Deep Pour

We use this to cast our daughter‘s wedding flowers into a 3 inch deep mold. 1) the directions tell you to stir for five minutes and then dump it into a second bucket and stir for another five minutes. Feels like overkill. But we did this and it worked perfectly with no issues. 2) when pouring from one bucket into the other bucket or the mold, we pour it onto the wooden paint stir and let it run down, which minimized air bubbles. We had zero issues with air bubbles with the finished product. 3) this product took close to 10+ hours to set up. So you have a long working time. 4) product was crystal clear and you could not tell where the individual pours or layers occurred. 5) cover your work if you can to prevent any dust or particles to settle on the top of it while it’s curing. 6) since we were casting flowers into a form we thought we could fill it halfway, place the flowers, and then finish the pour. We quickly learned that flowers float, and you had to wait for it to cure before the next layer could be poured on top. Therefore, we had to throw out mixed product and order additional. I would highly recommend this product to friends and family. But note that it is expensive.
