Great product. Good flavor.

This is a good size bag of freshly dried peppers. Spicy but not too hot, but more than medium hot. I really like them and it is a great deal. Better tasting than buy just the pepper flakes, more flavor.

The chilies themselves were whole, which I prefer as it gives me the flexibility to use them in various forms – either whole, chopped, or ground. One of my favorite ways to use these chilies has been in hotpot. They add a perfect medium-level spiciness that complements the broth without overpowering the other ingredients. The chilies infuse the broth with a deep, rich color and a flavor that is both spicy and slightly smoky. It's been a game-changer for my hotpot nights, offering that authentic Szechuan punch that I was looking for. The versatility of these chilies is impressive. Apart from hotpot, I've used them in several Mexican recipes and even some of my own creations. They work wonderfully in salsas, chili, and even as a spicy garnish on top of dishes. Their heat level is just right – noticeable but not so intense that it masks the other flavors in the dish.

I'm wiping away sweat from my brow as I write this review bear with me... The label saying "medium hot" made me skeptical, so I opened the bag to inspect. The peppers are longer than I expected and all came with these little green "hats" Very neat. Very orderly. I rehydrated a few, tossed if in ramen, and expected nothing outside of the usual pepper heat.. Long story short; these things pack a wallop and may make you literally break out in a sweat if you're not expecting it. (I wasn't expecting it...My face is still tingly...) Very well done!

These chilies add great flavor & heat to your food. Want mild spice, cook with them but don’t eat them. Want more spice, simply “toast” them in a hot dry wok for 1 or 2 min before adding in any other ingredients. We bought the medium chilies, but with the toasting technique they are anything but mild. We put 5 or 6 chilies (cut into 3, including seeds) into our Lo Mein and fried rice dishes...great kick!!! Just do it.

These make the BEST fermented veggies! I just bought another 2 bags of these! Perfect level of spice since they sit in the jars and the spice level rises as time goes on. These are considered medium heat and they are. You can also reconstitute them for other cooking dishes or to grind them and make a paste for sauces and condiments.

Don't go by their size, they're the tiny little devils that you should fear xD I put just 2 of them on a bowl of Barilla ready pasta(8.4 oz/241 g), and OMG I was sweating for at-least 45 minutes. They indeed have amazing flavor & warmth. Heat is amazing and profound in a good way. The amount of spice these give away if just perfect for heart & brain health.

You get a ton of them. This is gonna last me forever!

All I can say is use caution. Wow, hot! And I love spicy food.
