For one, it works. Second, This review is for folks having similar issues. I got this Charging devise for my Canon EOS XT. The problem is, I keep getting a dead battery signal after the first shot. Having a battery Grip, I had inserted cheaper AA batteries. Then I switch to the Canon Battery that came with the Camera. I have never used this before. It was over 15 years old and it appears to not hold a charge too. After reading several blogs I decided to go to an all new battery packs and charger. So far this my Camera is working like new. Only time will tell though. Having a Camera that makes you $$, you have to trust it's going to always switch on and ready to shoot. Just a personal note. I don't like spending $$ when not needed. This Camera has never been abused. So why not invest a little $$ before jumping off the deep end for a new rig. But with older equipment, it's always a gamble, keep sinking $$ into or go new? But the bottom line, I've gotten my $$ worth out of this rig since I bought it in 2005. But for me, my Canon Camera's are not just lens and plastic's. They are memories of where I was at each shot. This camera is apart of me. Silly as it may seem, but it's the truth. If any Camera Company would take that into consideration when making these things. Food for thought.

Dummy battery that was sent in this kit is not the correct shape for the Canon 350D -- doesn't fit -- and doesn't match the photographs!
