Good quality pads that fit the AED easily. If you do have them out in the sun they can leave a residue on the mannequin. Otherwise they last for a long time and many uses.

Prestan is a win.

I received four pairs of replacement pads for my Prestan AED trainers purchased from the Red Cross. Once installed, the pads worked just like the originals and seem durable and reliable. They stick well to my Prestan Ultralite manikins. The biggest issue is the instructions. They do not clearly explain how to replace the pad — the small black center button must be removed to detach the old pad from the cable assembly. Once I figured that out, installation was simple. It'd be nice if they included a few replacement buttons. I don't know if there's a way to replace the cable if it becomes damaged. I also wish there were an option to choose male or female chest graphics on the pads. I teach Scouts, mostly teenage boys, and the female chest image will invite unnecessary jokes and distractions during training. That said, these are still a good value. You get 8 total pads, and unlike the Red Cross replacements, you can replace a single worn pad instead of replacing both at once. They are more compact and economical overall. With clearer instructions, a choice of pad graphics, and some replacement buttons, these would be excellent. As they are, they still work well and are a solid option for AED trainer replacements.
