Draytek Vigor 2926ac

I bought this specifically for dual WAN use. My primary link is 100/12 (cable) and secondary is 12/6 (DSL). Because we have a home office, internet availability is critical. After having a very expensive consumer router fail, I decided I wanted a professional-level box.I am thrilled with this Draytek. I was able to configure the failover exactly the way I wanted (I ping 8.8.8.8 every 5 seconds and failover after 3 misses) and it works beautifully. The wireless is rock solid and very fast.It has WAY more features than I need, like VLAN, VPN, firewall, syslog, RADIUS etc.This may seem like a small thing, but the UI is very zippy and it reboots in 15 seconds. That must some kind of record.

This product is amazing and oozing with a multitude of functionality and as a result has somewhat of a learning curve. However the documentation is good and the support is strong. I came this product after using and discharging the Synology dual wan router and the Linksys dual wan router. Both i like at first however the Synology became maddeningly slow and the Linksys kept losing the connection.

Have used Draytek routers for a few years now. Reliable performance, bridged 2 networks in different towns with VPN, to run RDP and VOIP services over the backbone. Works great, good wifi coverage.
