Will this pull-up bar damage my doorframe?

When used correctly on a rigid, load-bearing doorframe, the press-to-lock bar will not cause damage. It does not require screws or drilling and uses padded contact points for protection.

Does it fit all doorways?

This pull-up bar fits most standard doorframes between 28" and 38" wide. Please measure your doorway and ensure it has solid, flat surfaces for contact on both sides.

Can I use this bar for chin-ups or hanging exercises?

Yes! The bar supports chin-ups, pull-ups, static holds, and hanging ab exercises. It's also great for attaching resistance bands or ab straps, as long as the force applied is vertical—not lateral.

How much weight can this support?

The NO. 109 Doorway Chin UP Bar has been lab-tested to support up to 330 lbs (tested at full extension under static load). It’s designed for bodyweight training—not kipping, swinging, or dynamic gymnastics movements.

Does the bar spin or rotate while in use?

No. The built-in anti-rotation locking system helps prevent the bar from spinning or shifting while you're exercising, ensuring a stable workout.

Works great

The weight distribution is way better than most of these thanks to the brackets and it remains sturdily in place once extended. Great piece of equipment
