Rep Fitness Adjustable Bench – AB-3000 FID – Flat/Incline/Decline (Matte Blk)

I bought this during Prime days and then realized after ordering it that it weighs almost 90 lbs, which concerned me since it is approximately twice the weight of my old bench. It was too late to cancel the order. I then pondered whether to return it unopened or keep it. After doing quite a bit of research on benches and also borrowing a lighter weight one from a friend I have concluded that there is typically a big jump in dead weight across most brands between lighter duty benches and heavier duty bench brands ( there are not many in the 60-80 lb range). I also lifted the end of the box to get an idea how this might feel lifting it onto its rollers to maneuver in our home gym. Today I took the plunge and assembled it ( very straightforward btw) and I’m pleasantly surprised that it really isn’t as heavy as I thought. This thing is very well designed with large rollers for moving, close tolerances, ball bearings in the decline ankle roller swing arm, very firm but comfortable pads, and great decline fit ( which was a major need in this versus my old bench). Beautiful minimalistic style without a bunch of nonsense printed on the pad covers and no separate ankle roller attachment taking up space in our gym. Extremely solid and stable, commercial quality. If you appreciate quality, buy this as your “forever “ bench. I’m glad I did!

Super easy to put together, VERY sturdy! I run a personal training business out of my garage, and I have people on this all day. Fits all my clients, and everyone feels safe and secure! The pads are wide as well so even for my bigger guys, they don’t feel like they are going to roll off the sides. It is heavy though! Not an “agile” bench. But for me, worth the quality!

OMG best bench I’ve ever had. I love it so much that I actually bought the upgraded pad for it which is a 14 inch pad. It’s very versatile. It’s very heavy duty. Very well-made nonslip grip padding is absolutely amazing. Nothing like it especially if you’re a bigger person, I’m looking at purchasing another one just because I like the REP brand and the customer service and I love their products worth every penny would highly recommend it

This thing is a TANK! Wow! I am blow away by this bench. REP did a fantastic job shipping and packing this bench. It came in 3 pieces (main bench, 2 pads separate), with two separate tool kits for bolts/washers/pins. A huge shoutout to the packing team, there is a checklist right on top with initials by whoever packs it. Love this! They have a detailed explanation of putting the bench together. All in all it took about 30 mins to assemble and about 10 to go back through and secure all the bolts. I would recommend putting seat on and securing that first before attaching the leg attachment. If I could give more stars I would. I was looking for a heavy duty bench for my gym and this is IT! The only con of this bench is that you aren’t going to be able to stand it up. Because the bench can fully incline and decline, there isn’t a “post” for the bench to rest on standing up. I believe REP fixed this with the black wing model. But it’s truly a small issue considering the sturdiness of the bench. 100/100 would recommend this bench . Hope that helps.

Great build quality, stable, and easy to assemble. Not really made to be stored standing since it will put some wear and tear on the padding.
