This Oxbow product falls surprisingly short of basic rabbit nutrition standards. Despite being marketed for rabbits, the formula includes garlic powder, an ingredient in the Allium family that is toxic to bunnies and can trigger hemolytic anemia. Additionally, the inclusion of dried potatoes presents a severe risk of gastrointestinal stasis due to high starch content and potential solanine toxicity. Heavy fillers like barley flour, rolled oats, and added oils further clutter the treat with unnecessary fats and simple carbohydrates, while cane molasses adds excessive sugar that disrupts a rabbit's fragile cecal flora. Adult rabbits should also avoid the alfalfa meal present here due to its high calcium content, which contributes to bladder sludge. Overall, this product is best avoided entirely in favor of simple dried herbs or small fresh vegetable trimmings.

Dispite the picture of a hamster on the front i would say do not buy these. They contain garlic powder. The company that sells them told me when i contacted them about this "we don't make them, we only sell them"

I used to like Oxbow treats for my guinea pig but I'm going off them after seeing the new treats such as this one. How can something be marketed towards an animal that contains toxic ingredients! Guinea pigs should not have potato as they are toxic and also garlic too. Sweet potatoes are ok for guineas but the ingredients just state that dried potato is used. Please don't buy these. Check all ingredients, a quick internet search will tell you if something is safe for your furbaby. ALSO, another Oxbow treat, the Timothy ones have soya which is genetically modified and wheat gluten which isn't natural for animals and guinea pigs already have sensitive digestive systems so grains like wheat aren't good for them.

Mein Hamster mag diese Leckerlis gern. Ich gebe sie nur ab und zu, und bisher scheint er sie wirklich zu genießen. Die Herzform ist hübsch, und die Zusammensetzung mit vielen Gemüsesorten wirkt auf mich gut. Laut Packung sind unter anderem Karotten, Paprika, Leinsamen und Kelp enthalten. Insgesamt bin ich bisher zufrieden mit dem Kauf.

One of the difficult things about being a Bunny owner is trying to find things that are Bunny specific. These are great for small animals, however, they are really good for bunnies because they contain very few ingredients and I feel good about giving them to my rabbits. They don’t have a lot of additives and preservatives, which I sometimes worry about getting from Amazon, but my Bunny’s really like them and they’ve been great and trying to get Foster bunnies to like me that don’t trust me very much. I feel good giving these to my rabbit and that it won’t ruin their diet or have too much sugar. This is a brand that I trust with my rabbits and that they rescued that I foster rabbits for also trust. We gladly try any of their products, however, I do like the ones that are specifically geared towards bunnies more.
