Metra 95-6533B DDIN Radio Dash Install Kit for 2004-2010 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER, DODGE DURANGO and JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

For starters, kit requires cutting that is a known, but includes guide doesn't sit very flush making it hard to get cuts right. Also kit makes no mention of and provides no guidance on cutting mounting "cage". Tabs fit, but require you to use screws from the radio. Since the kit comes with thick plastic tabs the radio screws don't work (meant for sheet metal tabs). Also no goo guidance on mounting depth which further complicates the issues with the tabs.Very disappointed in metra I've used their kit almost exclusively for installs for the last 10+ years. This kit is not up to same standards.

Kit works very well, put the template into your bezel, scribe with a small pick or screwdriver, then I used a dremel with a cutting wheel. When you fit it, don't put your dremel away yet, on my Durango 2006 I had to remove inner radio plastic cage and cut most of that away with the Dremel. All in all came out very well. BTW, for the radio wiring for these mid 2000s Dodge-Chryslers, if you don't want to spend money for a module, simply tap a wire from the cigarette lighter to power radio on and off with the key.

This product is supposed to fit Chrysler made vehicles. it comes with two side brackets (plastic) and a bezel cover for what would look to be a double din sized radio, along with a single din bezel.the side brackets worked to install the radio into the dash (there is zero mounting hardware included, you have to use the radio or find your own), but the bezel has no way to attach to the inside of the Durango's instrument bezel save for two very small tabs on the side. they don't marry up because the bezel is a bit too wide.Conversely, the bezel is not large enough on the vertical - and there are two large gaps above and below the radio.this kit did not meet my needs. i've had to try another kit, which included wiring harness and antennae adapter, and is cheaper. we'll see if that proves successful.two stars just due to the fact that the side mounts worked. other than that this kit was useless.

Exactly what I needed and cost is lower than store pricing. If you purchase this, you will have to cut into your factory deck dash bezel or you could order a navigation bezel but that’s additional cost between $80-$300. The trim face you get w/ this kit covers your cut lines nicely and no one will know it’s a DYI. Assuming your cut lines are straight😉

Great for 04 durango limited works great.

For my PT cruiser the amount of OEM trimming needed according to Metra was inadequate. Had to trim out about 1/8 to 1/4 inch more then instructions said. There is enough overlap with the front metra overpanel that it's not a problem, just need to do it to make things fit right.
