I need to buy compression stockings, either thigh high or tights. (See my comparison between the thigh high and these below.) I was afraid these would be hard to put on or so tight that they would be uncomfortable but they are great. The graduated compression makes them comfortable and relatively easy to put on. My body is not made for leggings (short and overweight) but with the right top, I even got compliments wearing these. I would not want to wear them as normal workout wear because they are so warm but maybe that's just me. I like to be cool when I exercise. They would be a good layer in the winter and would fit under most pants. I recommend them for anyone who wants compression (or is on their feet all day and needs compression!) Review: Very good compression - I have lymphedema and lipedema and need some level of compression every day. Wearing the bulky wraps often get in the way. Most leggings don't have enough compression but these are great - you can tell when it's hard to put them on! They are a bit long and I had to keep pulling them up to get the slack out, and going to the restroom is a workout each time - but when they are on they feel great, and my entire leg is getting compression rather than just my calves. I'm happy with them. Oh, I am wearing something over them because the way they rubbed in the thigh was uncomfortable for me.

Very good compression

Ordered many compression leggings and this is the only one that I am keeping
I like the winter weight and they have more compression than other "compression" leggings that I ordered, and at least they are long enough. The fabric is a textured knit, so they probably cannot be worn with a skirt, but they are heavy enough to be worn to the gym...in the winter. I am 5'7", 125lbs and ordered a M. Though I would like more compression on the legs, the top of the waist is very tight--I am altering/replacing the waistband to make them more comfortable because they come up to my rib cage with a tight 1/2" (24") elastic band embedded in the top, which makes my stomach stick out (look closely at the product video). The tiny waistband pocket is useless--to carry a phone, leg pockets would be nice. I wish that there were more 20-30mmHg compression leggings to choose from. If I didn't need 20-30mmHg compression I would have returned them.

Feel great, fit is wonky
I love the leg compression! I love the soft material, would be a bit warm in summer months. The weave feels like long underwear. Ha! I am 5'3" with a long torso. My inseam is a 21. Very hard fit. I ordered a size up from my normal. Mainly bc I know my legs are holding water and bigger than normal. First off, i have to roll down the waistband. I really dispise high waist anything! The front pocket on the inside is just too weird and too small for anything, so why bother? The legs are VERY long, but its works for those who have Plantart Fasciitis like I do. Works as an open toe compression. I'll make it work, but probably not ordering anymore pairs as the waistband is not the comfiest, and the high waist is just a no go for me.

Not medical grade compressions, these are athletic leggings
These are not medical grade compression stockings/leggings. As some of the other reviewers mentioned, these are indeed athletic leggings as indicated on the package and the tag. I have expensive compression hosiery over $100 and inexpensive ones for under $40 that work (all toeless) I have been searching for a good footless compression hosiery and tried two different ones from this manufacturer and both failed. If you're looking for good athletic leggings, these will do the trick. They have a built-in pair of shorts and a hidden coin/ key pocket in the waist band. They are a thick ribbed material and the waistband is comfortable. They run large for compression but comfortable for exercising. I was able to pick up about 1.5 inches of material from the thigh area and the ankles and legs were loose as well. The leggings are long enough. For reference, I'm 5'9" and a true size 8 with a 34 inch inseam.

You will not be disappointed!!!! Order them!!
I recently was diagnosed with venous insufficiency. I met with a specialist and before I began my procedures he recommended I start wearing compression stockings 20-30 mmhg. I did a lot of research and decided leggings would fit my lifestyle best. I ordered a few different brands. Immediately these were my favorite. They are dark and tight. They have a basket type design. They look like leggings. They are super thick! I often wear these for 24 hours at a time. Yes, they are that comfortable! They are very tight and found the secret to putting them on. Wear latex gloves like what doctors use. I am 5 ft 6 and weigh 150 pounds but my legs are huge. Account to sizing I got the XL. I have a little extra room in length so sometimes I pull them down half of my foot and sometimes I pull them to my ankle. There is a interior panty which is nice since it’s too uncomfortable for me to wear undies under them. They are also thin enough so that I can wear them under pants, jeans or yoga pants. Ideally I would prefer to not to have to wear support leggings but if I have to, they have a customer for life! I would love to see other fun colors available or even patterns if that’s possible.

Comfortable
Mostly, the comfort! These were great during a long flight: I was impressed. It kept me warm at 2 airports and during the flights. Also, it didn't feel it being suffocating on the waist line or ankles. I didn't feel pain or tiredness during my inaugural use. I ordered a size M , I'm 5'4"" and weigh around 128 lbs. It was a little bit long so I needed to keep it from riding down a coupleof times, but that was ok for me. It looks nice and discrete like a regular pair or fitted leggings. I washed it in a front loader inside a protective net and it could stand it perfectly.

Not 20-30mmHg
I wear compression socks/lower extremity garments every day. I am always on the lookout for another option, so when I saw these were made in America, reasonable priced and the compression level I needed: I thought I had hit the jackpot. I did not. They were awful. I used the size chart provided and picked the size recommended. It was the weirdest combinations of a bad fit ever. The leggings went on easily (bad sign at this level of compression). This was in combination with the waistband and the ankle hem digging into my skin. Weird. At the top of my thighs, there was excess material bunched up. I know sometimes with compression wear you need to adjust the material a couple times to have it fit correctly but never found an adjustment of the material that didn't equal a significant amount of material being bunched up. The calf area felt like it had a bit of compression. Similar to what a 8-15 mmHg feels like, no compression was felt at the thigh level. The control waist was effective and comfortable. (with the exception of the already mentioned waistband itself) Obviously, based on the many positive reviews, my experience is not the norm. For reference, my inseam to the floor is 33 inches and to my ankle is 31 inches. I am 5'10" with enough weight that an XL is appropriate in most brands. I hope this helps others decide if this is the right compression wear for them.

Muffin top cankles
They are meant to be tight, but sizing chart is off. seller communications are poor. I had hoped that I could wear these as tights but they are not thick enough and have a weird, waffle texture that does not lend themselves to being worn with a skirt and boots.
