This was a wonderful surprise!! Sweet, but not gooey sweet. The bread and filling was full of rich flavor!! I saw this treat featured on our Japanese television channel. And I just had to try it! Wonderful!!! I bought the assortment box and every one was Awesome!! 🤩 Recommend!!

So yummy. Only one complaint. One of each flavor is NOT enough.

Yumm
I tried the coffee and pumpkin flavor so far. The pumpkin is my favorite. I would purchase again if they sold a box with just that flavor lol they're sweet, but not too sweet, and moist.

Good but very small
Each bread is about the size of a cookie, which is disappointing for how expensive this is, but they taste very good.

Delicious and satisfying!
These are a bit pricey but I had a red bean cake with my tea this morning and it was satisfyingly worth it! I was worried the cakes might be stale, but the taste and texture were quite similar to what I’d buy at the store right in Japan down the street where I lived. That cake shell reminds me a bit of American Fig Newtons but without the sandy crumbliness you get with FrankenFood. The red bean paste hits the spot for my sweet tooth without being sickeningly sweet. The cakes are small but a perfect little treat with a cup of tea. I’d purchase again. They come in a nice gift box, but be aware that because they are sealed individually and so well for retaining freshness, you’ll probably need scissors to cut open each pack. ETA: If you’re worried about sugar, know that each cake contains a lot of it even if they are not overly sweet. These are best as a treat to occasionally elevate your tea or coffee time if you have sugar at all. Hope that helps.

Pumpkin Pie was the only good one
The pumpkin pie one was the only good one. The rest tasted stale and dry. I chose this one because it reminded me of the treats I had in Okinawa during my assignment there.
