Great car, fast and tough! Perfect first hobby RC car.
This car is mostly ready to run right out of the box. The only assembly is to attach the spoiler and wheely bar with a few screws (screws and screwdriver are included). Charge the car battery, put some AA batteries in the radio, turn the car and radio on, and it's ready to go. The charging cable and controller is included but you will need to supply a standard USB-A phone charger. It's very fast but not so fast that it's hard to control. The speed can also be dialed down until the driver gets the hang of handling. My grandchildren (5 and 7) loved playing with it. It only took a couple of minutes before they were able to control it, mostly... There were some pretty spectacular crashes, including a full-speed run directly into a pole, another several into a chain link fence and 30 minutes of non-stop bashing inside an empty ball pit. I was absolutely surprised there was no functional damage to the car at all. There were of course innumerable scratches in the shell and chassis, but nothing that affected operation. I was very impressed with its durability, and they had a ton fun driving and bashing it. I have a brushless RC car that is much faster, but it is about twice the price and really too fast for the little ones. The radio seems to be of good quality, though I am no expert. Steering and throttle control felt immediate and proportional. The car itself feels solid and well-made. The shells look great and come with clip lanyards attached. This would make an excellent gift for kids from five and up. It is also a really good entry point into hobby-level RC cars. It will allow one to inexpensively try out the hobby before dumping a bunch of money on a more expensive car.

On the border of toy grade vs hobby grade RC.
This little guy rides the fine line between toy grade and hobby grade RC. It falls inside the hobby grade zone but just barely. The servo is a 5 wire which is commonly used in the wltoys branded small scale RCs and there are plenty of replacement options on Amazon. Deans plug for the battery and JST for the motor. Motor is a standard 380 size and again plenty of replacement options on Amazon. The transmitter isn't great, but it is functional. The steering trim is very coarse. You could theoretically upgrade all the electronics easy enough, but by that point you'd be into it for more money that its worth.I don't have a gps speed monitor, but I highly doubt the claim of 40+kmh. She doesn't have enough umph to even lift the front wheels despite having a wheelie bar on the back. I think that is largely because this thing is built like a brick house (which is not a bad thing). The pan is reinforced with a thick aluminum plate and all of the plastic is quite beefy. There is a fair amount of aluminum parts throughout actually. It is designed to take some abuse, but with the speed that it goes you'll have to be trying hard to abuse it to the point of breaking it.All that said, it was definitely fun to drive as most RCs are. I also found it nice that it came with two body options and an additional battery. This scale is enjoyable because it is so forgiving but you can still get some bashing in. This wont end up in my arsenal to take out on Saturday mornings, but I am going to use it for teaching my 4 y/o about RC.Its a tough recommendation at $80 when you can spend $20-30 more and get something much quicker and leaning more towards hobby grade, but if your budget is TIGHT or if this is an item for a younger child this is an option.

Super fast and Super fun!
This remote control car is incredibly fast, reaching speeds of up to 45km/h and stopping on a dime. Mastering the trigger-style remote control and adjusting to its steering are crucial for controlling this toy at high speeds. The set includes two batteries, chargers for the car and remote, and a second "body" for the car.My sons and husband are obsessed with racing this all-terrain vehicle. It's capable of climbing and can usually maneuver itself out of "stuck" positions. Please be aware that due to its speed, caution should be exercised to prevent potential injuries if someone is hit by the car while it's in motion. The battery life is excellent, providing an hour or more of playtime per battery. The car is well-built and designed to withstand rough play. It's a good size and a really fun toy.

Fun RC car if it held together
A fun toy for 10 minutes before a piece broke. It was very fast across the grass but slowed way down after the piece broke. My husband "fixed" it but also noticed you can easily buy parts for it. Not worth it.

Fun, fast, and two batteries to make it last!
What a great little off road r/c vehicle! Easy to run right out of the box after charging the batteries and installing batteries in the controller. This is the kind of vehicle that satisfies all ages as it can be set low enough for a relative beginner to use it, and can be set at it's highest setting to satisfy the speed demon teen or adult that wants to run it fast and hard. The body is very durable and stands up to rolling over and crashing with little to no damage. It is one in the sub $100 range that is a great value and runs like a lot of the more expensive r/c vehicles. Steering controls are precise and turns can be tight doughnuts or slow curves depending on how you use the throttle. My daughter had to comment on the extra body and really liked the green one, but I wanted to keep the blue one on. It is a fast and powerful little R/C buggy and works well for a lot of different categories and ages.

Great quality
I wish they made rc trucks like this when I was a kid. This little truck is awesome.. it will on almost any type of of terrain fly through it without any problems. Two surfaces I'd suggest staying completely away from is tall grass or loose cans. Overall though this is a great rc.,
