A great option when you dont want to permanently damage wiring

Worth the price, but get extra in case you lose a cap.
I used the smallest ones for 20-22AWG wires to tap into a nearby push button switch in my 2004 4runner. Needed the positive and negative wires for lighting up new switches that I was installing for off-road lights. The positive tap works awesome.I accidentally dropped one of the posi-tap ends into my exposed center console, so I couldn't complete the job for the negative wire. Tried using the next biggest connector 18AWG posi-tap, but the needle won't line up correctly on the tiny wire; no connection. There were only two 20-22AWG taps in the package. I went ahead and butt-spliced my wires since I didn't have any other taps.I'm getting more of these for future projects. They make adding a connection so much easier. Wish I had seen these before I cut the pig-tails off my fog light wiring. They are pricier than other taps, but felt easier to work with.

Works as advertised
I was adding a light bar to my truck and was needing to splice into some existing connectors behind the dash and these fit the bill perfectly. Just follow the instructions - easy to use and worked both times I used them. Definitely would purchase again.

Saved my bacon!
These things were a life saver. After the crappy "pinch" connectors that came with a backup camera I purchased didn't function as they were supposed to, these things really saved me. I used some pinch connectors on the back up light harness on our truck and the camera connector wire was too small to stay in the supplied connector however I had already broke the wire insulation on back up light harness wire and was a little perturbed. Then I remembered that I had bought these per the recommendation of someone online and decided to give it a try.I lined up the Lockitt connector for the 22 AWG size where the other connector had already broke the wire insulation. I attached it per instructions and tightened it down, inserted the thin wire from the camera and tightehed it up, and BAM! I was done. A solid connection that was neatly made in a matter of seconds. ( I should note that the back up light wire was probably about 18 gauge, but I was able to fit the wire in the 22 gauge Lockitt ) If you need quick solid connection without soldering or messing around this is a good solution. The big caveat with these connectors is that you cannot really use them in really tight places because of the nature of their design, but it sure beats soldering or splicing if you don't have to.

POSI-Tap- they work, nice penetration, less damage to wire, would NOT recommended for data wire connections.
I used these to install a remote starter on a vehicle. I used the large yellow to tap a larger Power wire 10 or 12guage to supply Power to the RS which worked well and I used the blue and red ones for smaller gauge wires to include ingnition, parking light and door pin wires. I do like how they penetrate the wires and are less aggressive than the “fold-over” style taps. All connections worked well except one and that was the data connection between the RS and the SKIM module. I ended up removing the tap and going with the traditional “poke and wrap” copper to copper connection. For some reason even though the posi-tap provided a good connection (I tested continuity), I think the data connection did not like the dissimilar metal. The posi-taps otherwise seem to work well and are easy to use...I don’t think they will come Unscrewed over time given the design but a little tape wrap doesn’t hurt. Would be nice if they provided the current/amperage ratings for each size for easy reference. A little pricey but if you are looking for something that is less damaging, these are a nice option to have in the tool box.

Easy and sure connections-- and reusable
The assortment doesn't have quite enough of everything in there but it does give you a good sampling.I do quite a bit of automotive lighting upgrades, and for critical life-safety equipment like regulated motor vehicle lighting, it does not pay to get the cheap "fold and crimp" type of connectors. These are watertight, almost foolproof to understand and use, and best yet, are reusable.

These work awesome!!!!!
I wish I would have had these a long time ago! They are very easy to use when you’re in tight spaces (which usually happens most of the time!) and don’t have room for a tool. I will always have these in my toolbox!

omg it works!!!
perfect variety pack, i only needed 1 blue and 1 yellow. these little guys helped me splice a backup camera to the reverse and ground wire on the factory trailer harness of my dad's pickup (96 dodge ram 1500, reverse is 16ga purple wire with black stripe, ground is 12ga black, in case that helps anyone). dreaded trying to strip a wire in the middle and somehow securely intertwine stranded wire onto it; these things make it simple for those of us with minimal electrical skills. i didnt trust the quick splice t taps that came with the backup camera and read somewhere thats its not an issue of if it will fail, its an issue of when it will fail; positaps are said to produce a more reliable connection. dabbed some dielectric grease around the positap openings and wrapped with electrical tape, not sure if it will help prevent corrosion/contamination but cant hurt, worked on the first try, good stuff!
