Frequency Devices 30 to 40 Meter Half Wave Dipole Antenna 30-40HWD

This is a bargain. Everything you need and they got it to me in 2 days. I didn't even bother to measure it but just loosely wrapped about 6" from each end around itself. It's only about 10' off the ground at the moment and my built-in automatic antenna tuner has no problem getting from 1.0 - 1.5: 1 on 80-10 meters, even though it's built for 30-40 meters. I'm waiting on an antenna analyzer I ordered to fine tune it.The center piece is lightweight pvc-c and appears to be well sealed from moisture. I know from experience not to just let the wires fly loose but to unroll one side at a time to prevent kinks. Unroll it, don't just pull the end away sideways and end up with a long spiral of wire.While 'rolling your own' has always been part of the ham radio culture, I doubt I could build this myself for much cheaper, as I'm just getting back into it after a long hiatus, and would have to scrounge for the pvc-c, hardware, wire, insulators, and the goop to seal it up.

I turn amp on and can work anybody i hear. Best 40 dipole i ever put up.
