Gibson59 Les Paul Historic Pickguard Creme PRPG-050

Hi, I already informed Amazon that this is not a pcikup mounting ring but a Historic pickguard (for humbuckers).It fits perfectly on my Tokai LS-85 Goldtop (2009), except for the screw, I had to drill a new hole, no big deal.As a matter of fact, it fits better than the pickguard the guitar had.Service/delivery was fast and good!No complaints here (except for the wrong item description...)

High quality part, but please note this pickguard is designed for P-90 equiped Les Pauls, not PAF models.

I OWN A 1960 GIBSON LES PAUL GOLD-TOPTHIS PICKGUARD IS THE WRONG COLOR CREAM. MY PICKUP RINGS ARE REALLY A DARK TANISH COLOR. THIS PICKGUARD LOOKS ALMOST WHITE NEXT TO THEM.IF I WANT A PLAIN REPLACEMENT PICKGUARD, I CAN BUY ONE FOR $8.00SORRY...

Item was not cream it was more to the green side didn't match the pickup covers

It is a simple plastic plate, with the usual color mismatch. It is well machined, but won't fit every gibson guitar.I am crafting a '59 replica to detail, and this pickguard has the pick-up notches way too spaced. I' ll have toFile and sand the pickguard for a fit. Other than that, it is a bit expensive, as the cost nearly doubles thatOf a "non-historic" part.

Does not fit properly on current standard/traditional models. So if you are looking to add that vintage vibe to your new Gibson LP, look elsewhere.

Pro:-Good size and color ( same exact one as on my expensive R0 AAA flame burst)-Was on saleCon-Item was Warped-Took me 30 minutes to get the package glue off the pick guard. Left some scuff marks on this brand new item. Terrible vacuum packing / glue job.
