Couldn't you make the instruction manual any smaller? I mean, I can't read it anyway, so, you know, make it smaller so only kids can read it. readability for the elderly who have never used a machine before? Come on, this is nuts! I'm going to have to buy a magnifying glass before I can safely use it. We are old people; our eyes aren't as good anymore, and you print the booklet in font 0.0001. Wow. It might have been recommended, but the instruction manual is only good for snails that can put their eye right up to the page. As for the machine itself, it gets 10 stars because of its simplicity of use. The batteries need to be bought for this pack, and buy the 1.5V AAA and non-rechargeable ones, okay? Instructions: Set up the lancer by twisting off the round plastic thing. Don't bend it, or you'll break the needle. Pop it in the tube. Put the back on and pull back the rear of the tube to prime the lance. Next, grab a card and whack it in the machine then wipe swab your finger and uce the lancet and punch that waking great hole in your fingertip and ooze your nectar out and with the card still in the machine touch the card with your nectar and it will count down 5 seconds and give you your numbers. Oh, and the pain – even a baby wouldnt cry using this, so why are needles bigger, I ask myself? The machine has other settings and displays, but I just wanted the blood sugar numbers, and it does it all by itself. The card even turns on the machine. I've reviewed my review and have upped it to 4 stars because the machine is a brilliant piece of kit but because of the instructions were printed in the smallest font I've ever seen, it has to lose the one star, as not every old person has the internet to find instructions

Simple to use, the lancing device is pain free to use. It counts down and displays the results, the manual says it will also beep at the end of a test but mine doesn't? 77Results displayed quickly. It also has a memory function to record results and view previous ones. Do remember to set the time etc first on the unit.

The blood glucose monitor is of good quality and very accurate as I tested the monitor against a recent hospital blood test and the result was almost the same. I rate IMDK as a very good company who respond to e mails in record time and answer questions as needed. I would recommend this equipment to other people requiring a blood glucose monitor.

Item didn’t work Instructions where clear and easy to understand but monitor didn’t work

My husband has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. I ordered this to test how he is doing after following a new food plan. He and I are so impressed with the product. It is easy to test yourself and takes away that fear that you’re not cutting out the right amount of the bad food. Easy to carry with you and such a good price too. Very easy to use. this is my first glucose monitor due to high A1C and after reading a lot of reviews on many glucose monitors, I settled on this one. Not disappointed and meets all my needs. the test strips are easy to use and the lancets are effective and easy to install and remove. I really like the 150 test strips on 3 individual sealed bottles. The lancets tool has an easy-to-use adjustable depth setting. 2 works just fine for me. The monitor is easy to read, and the countdown makes it easy to see when you can expect results. the error codes are easy to understand from the manual. I got an error code the first time due to insufficient blood sample. Then when I tried to add more blood, it gave me a contaminated error code. Being the first time required to monitor my blood sugar I'm glad I got these errors out of the way and now know how to properly use. Still don't enjoy the lancets, however I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is one of the better glucose test kits for the price point! It has everything you need in one package. It’s accurate, compact and easy to use. It used a very small blood sample to get accurate results. The lancet pen works great for me where other kits pen don’t puncture my skin, I must have tough skin! It’s much safer than other pens where I have to take the lancet out of the pen and manually jab my finger multiple times, ouch! The lancets and test strips are sold separately too for easy refills.
