Don't be fooled with the other reviews as I was. The product I received is not the same as on the photo shown and the quality is not as good as it looks on photo. I am very angry with this sh*t product as when iv closed it to lock it it has scratched all my steering wheel which will cost a lot more to replace. Do not buy if you value your car if u don't u wouldn't be buying one anyway

got this after my spare car key was stolen, got locks replaced and keys reprogrammed, so they could not access vehicle, but also got this wheel lock as extra security and to deter other thieves! **** EDIT: photograph is NOT what was received, actual item is pictured here - please correct!: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rotary-Steering-Wheel-Lock-Yellow/dp/B005EM8HYU/ref=pd_cp_auto_0 ****I tried two versions of Stoplocks steering wheel lock (sold in store by Argos and Halfords), but both did not fit my corsa steering wheel and got in the way of the horn as it locked in place. This wheel lock is great! Looking at the picture, it doesn't look big, but don't be fooled! it's about 24 inches in length, pretty sturdy and bright yellow and the locking mechanism is the sturdiest I've seen! this even comes with 2 pads that can be fitted (if required) to shorten the gap between wheel clamp and the locking mechanism itself.all in all, a great product - I hope it keeps the thieves at bay and moves them on to cars that don't have this in place :)

The key only seems to fit in 1 particular way which is confusing as its a ' star ' shape & as I have to have it fitted on the wheel so the lock faces away from me i.e pointing to the windscreen its very tricky to lock & unlock, I use it in high risk areas & situations which defeats the object unfortunately.The first time I used it I struggled to both lock & unlock - it took me almost 5 minutes, I have driven for over 20 years so am used to using steering wheel locks. I also sprayed the lock with WD40 incase it was just a sticky lock,I will try again as I accidentally threw the instructions out, though like I explained I did manage it but with difficulty.

item purchased to fit as lock on my Toyota MR2 car after researching if it would fit sent for it. Arrived would not go on top of steering wheel as dash in the way would not fit from either side. Did try it to secure a bit more security by putting it on lower right so it when on hit the seat but marked the steering wheel,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,now laying in boot forever. May work fine on different other cars

Bought for my daughters Ford Focus. Did not fit the steering wheel without removing the inner section of the lock She had it for about 3 weeks when it 'fell apart' The large yellow section came away from the body of the lock. I e mailed the company and received an e mail telling me to return the item in original packing etc, etc, so it could be resold!!! Didn't bother Araldited it back into place.

What an utter piece of garbage!!! Ordered this lock but received something completely different. I cannot believe some one is actually calling this a security lock. The "lock" I received has a pivot that brings the two pieces together once placed around the wheel. The problem is that the end of the pivot has been drilled out and the remaining material (which isn't much) flattened to create a locking tab. I was able to prise apart the two parts of the locked product useing nothing more than a pair of wire cutters. Shocking. The car thieves around here WONT be fooled.

Lock was a little bit fiddly but overall very pleased with purchase and seems good value for money.

Absolute rubbish, really poor quality, I broke with my bare hands putting it on for the first time, couldn't be bothered to return, so went straight in the bin, what did I honestly expect for a dozen quid..
