Giro Tremor MIPS Youth Visor MTB Bike Cycling Helmet

i contacted giro, they told me that the visor is "not replaceable" even though it is designed to snap on & off easily. This is my first experience with giro as a company & has left a bad taste in my mouth. I see no good reason why they cant replace the visor, good companies typically can replace all removable parts on their products. I will probably avoid giro from now on.

I purchased the Giro Tremor MIPS bike helmet for my kid less than 6 months ago and it is going into the trash because of a cheap component that broke during adjustment. While turning the knob to tighten, it suddenly came loose. There was no snap or sound of something breaking. I thought maybe it just disconnected from something but upon closer inspection, it's actually broken. How can it protect a child properly if it snaps from normal, proper, adjustment? Alas, feels bad to have wasted $60 as I expected it to last several years until outgrown so steer clear of this helmet.

Perfect helmet for the active kid! Upgraded my 4year old daughter from the Scamp when she got her first pedal bike. She wore the scamp well on balance bikes and this was the best option sizing up. It fits excellent just like my mountain bike helmet with full coverage around the base of her head. Normal helmets don’t really provide coverage at the base of the head.Size is accurate to the description.Also, the visor is great to keep the sun off her eyes and the bright green color works super well to improve her visibility to cars. Works like a safety vest without risk of the other kids making fun of her because green is cool! Haha, sneaky parent trick!Fully adjustable straps and I imagine this will fit her until she is 8-10 years old at least.Cannot recommend this one enough, we’ll worth the price.

I ordered this helmet for my daughter as she outgrew her little kid helmet. It's a very blue purple color with black GIRO logo printed on it. We tried it on and it fit well so she took off. A few days later she pointed out to me it was supposed to be pink. I'm disappointed as she's sad about it but the product seems to function well so we've kept it, especially since she's already worn it several times. However, it does make me wonder if this is the correct product I paid for and not a fake or a previous model or something. Would love to have someone explain to all of us who got the wrong colored purple helmet as to what is going on.

Even check the Giro website to ensure the measurements are right for you.We were searching for a safe helmet for our growing 6 year old or myself. She had grown out of all toddler helmets and had been wearing my much more expensive women’s size small Giro helmet.My helmet has a much smaller size range than this helmet so technically it could fit me. My husband wears a men’s large and can’t fit this helmet.This helmet is adjustable via the turn dial in the back and can easily adjust to fit snugly. The description states it is a women’s helmet but it’s a Universal Youth. Read the measurements and measure your head to ensure fit. If you don’t have a flexible tape measure use ribbon, yarn, or a shoe lace to get the size and lay against a flat measuring tape.My spouse and I both love Giro helmet for mountain biking and know and trust the MIPS technology, so we knew we trusted Giro and Bell to protect our little ones noggin. If you’ve never heard of it watch some YouTube videos or read up on MIPS and if you do any sort of riding you’ll see why it’s a great choice!The fit of this helmet is perfect, it’s extremely light weight, it has many vents for air and the front vents are covered with mesh for protection from branches or bugs or whatever else. It’s a bright color (we ordered pink) so it’s highly visible, she said it’s comfortable, and it goes down low in the back to protect the head.I wear a women’s small Giro helmet and this helmet goes down in size to smaller than that and gets bigger than my helmet so it’s a great universal size. For adults with larger heads though it likey won’t fit, just do you research and check sizes on Giros website and even other bike shops. I have seen it listed in women’s helmets as well as children’s so it’s absolutely universal.If you measure right, you won’t be disappointed!

My 5yo moved on to a 2-wheel bike and he was ready for a helmet upgrade. Cue Giro Tremor:Pros:Excellent heat ventilation! A must for the hot, humid climate we live in.Really light weight!Super bright neon green (he loved the saturated color) and it is definitely eye-catching = safety.Now my 5yo is much happier wearing his helmet. This is crucial because it isn't any good if they aren't wearing it.Cons: None

This is the absolute best helmet for your groms that want to be just like mommy or daddy! Visor, adjustable to the moon, and it has MIPS, so this thing will fit our three year old for a few years, granted he doesn't take any hard falls. Our 2 year old uses the Giro Scamp, which is also a great helmet. Love Giro's kids products!

Sorry no photo (my son is a minor). I ordered a Giro brand helmet as a replacement as my son was in a minor accident. In short, prior helmet was also Giro. I wrote to Giro headquarters, supplied them with photos, and thanked them for protecting my son (his head). GREAT protection as he * really hit his head when he spilled on his bike. The helmet shows terrific damage and he only has a scratch on his forehead (other injuries, yes, but we are rating the previous helmet protection here and the current condition of the new helmet). So, of course, I've ordered another Giro in hopes of investing in the same protection for my child!. Thank you.
