D18mm FL50.8mm CO2 Laser Lens, PVD ZnSe for CO2 Engraving 30W-100W

18mm I am using this lens for the Monport CO2 100-watt laser engraver/ cutter. It works way better than the stock lens that came with it.

I have the big red and black 60W Chinese laser machine. I bought the 2" focal length Cloudray lense to replace the original lense when it cracked. I have no idea what the original focal length was, but it clearly was not 2". I did some testing to find the optimal nozzle hight and where I was using a 7mm spacer to set hight before, a piece of 3/4" plywood is just about perfect hight for this one. I engrave mostly Rowmark 1/16" two color plastic for control plates on my Nolatone tube guitar amplifiers, but I also do some reverse engraving, both 1/16" and 1/8", and also cut some thin plywood. I've noticed cleaner engraving with sharper letters, and more efficient cutting. Also, because of the wider spacing between the nozzle and work piece (I presume that is due to a longer focal length of the new lens), the lens doesn't get fouled with residue as quickly. Win win!

I have an OM Tech CO² laser. After about 4 years I changed all the mirrors and lenses. After some research I discovered that this focal length was better for the type of work I was doing. They weren't wrong. Cloudray has always been quality and helpful as well.

Now my laser machine works like when it was new. I guess it should since this is an exact replacement. Hey guys, clean your lens every once in a while (or more).

Easy to change on omtech 100 watt laser. This lens gives us the ability to cut thru 1/2” acrylics much easier and cleaner than the standard 2” focal lens.
