Excellent skin care product I gave uses for years as a "face cream". Protects, seals in moisture, and slightly tightens skin when it drys. Works better than cosmetic face creams. When dry, it will leave a slightly shiny surface.

This is about as pure as you can get aloe without scraping the plant itself. Works a charm. Have been using this brand forever. And not only is it a daily on the face after washing, it's super for general itches and sun kisses and bites. Highly recommended.

Started using this for my second degree burns , it is so cool and comforting and helping my burns nicely.

This feels straight from the leaf with no added ingredients, thick but light on your skin. Very refreshing perfect for sensitive skin fragrance free.

The latest bottle I received now says “NEW NATURAL FRAGRANCE & FRESH NEW FEEL” Since I’m sensitive to fragrances, I was concerned about this new label. I called the company and they said there is no added natural or other fragrance. The reason for the "NEW…” label is that during the Pandemic they could not source the original thickener ingredient, so they had to substitute another thickener that had a slight smell. Now they've gone back to a neutral smell thickener, and their marketing people decided to add a "NEW Natural fragrance..." label to indicate that the customer can expect to only smell the natural aloe smell again (like originally). So I tried it out and indeed it smells like aloe, and maybe a hint of alcohol. I detect no other fragrance smells, and the aloe/alcohol smell dissipates in a few minutes, like my older bottle. So ironically, the “NEW Natural Fragrance” label, though confusing, is actually good news. I hope this review helps out other fragrance sensitive people. Perhaps, some other reviews that have mixed opinions about "smell" are due to the substitute thickener ingredient adding a smell. Just realize that aloe does have a characteristic (natural) smell, which is indeed the smell that comes through with this product.

This is a gel that feels nice on your skin, is not greasy, and provides good antidote to a day in the sun.

me encanta el gel de aloe vera de lily of desert y lo usamos desde hace muchos años tanto para la hidratación de la piel como para el cabello como gel fijador. en la piel se absorbe muy bien y no se queda pegajoso a diferencia de otros geles de aloe vera que llevan aromas , colorantes y alcohol.

El producto es muy bueno, pero la entrega no, pedí dos geles, dice la descripción del artículo de 12 OZ cada uno y me llegaron dos de 4 OZ cada uno, ni siquiera se acompleta uno de la cantidad que indica la descripción.
