Very nice product, works every time, saves an ailing back and/or legs while retrieving a ball on the green.They are subject to damage if not handled with care. The first I tried lasted two seasons though.

The worst purchase I have ever made from Amazon. This item is a rubber "claw" that fits over the grip of a golf putter. The function is to grab a ball out of the hole without having to bend down. Handy for many 80+ golfers, like me. Unfortunately when the putter is placed in a golf bag it cracks the very first time. This happened with the first two I tried and a third time with one I gave to a friend. Just a flimsy product.

The product itself works reasonably well, but the reason they give you six is because they do break. Especially trying to get the ball out of the hole with the flag still in. Depending on your putter handle, mine is oversized, you may have to drill it yourself and use a different screw than the one that comes with the set. I’d rather use them, then not so I put up with all the difficulties. Age is hell.

Item works great. A little tricky to get used to but picks up the ball nicely. Very easy to attach to the end of of a rectangular golf club shaft. If your club shaft is round the slip on ball pick is a little better and more sturdy but both kinds work well. I've used both.

Product worked well in general, though one of them had a finger that was bent out of shape and another had two fingers broken off. The remainder will work well, having mounted just two so far and still have one spare.

These are a copy of the upright golf grabber. They're just not quite as good. They do not have the reinforcement towards the bottom outside of each of the tines that would allow some more structural integrity. I bent mine to the point of breaking my first attempt of taking my golf ball out of the hole. The one on my son's putter also spread out quite a bit throughout the round and was very flimsy. I bet if I put a rubber band around the outside it would help but shouldn't have to make that type of adjustment.

Golf I have bad back and this product works great.

I have used a version of this design for several years - since back surgery. I like the design and know how to make them last as long as possible. Durability is determined by the type of plastic/rubber used. The material needs to be flexible at the base which works like a hinge to expand to pick up the ball and tough enough to retain its shape. The plastic in this product has no flex and cracks at the base of the fingers even after one use. No amount of care can keep them from breaking after a few times picking up the ball. You may need all six to get through one round.

I must say that after years of buying various products from Amazon, this is the very first time that I am writing a negative review.These retriever claw sucker tools are absolute rubbish. They break so very easily because of very poor design flaws- even after 2 days of usage, I had one break, and then another 3 days later- continual breakage.I cannot recommend this product at all and urge any future buyers to beware- and not buy this particular product. Yes they are reasonable in price but you get very little to zero value for the monies spent.I am actively looking to buy a different product- hopefully much better made that will at least last a season.Sorry for my negative comments but I have to be brutally honest.

It was easy to install but the screw was a little long for my putter. I found a slightly shorter one and it seems to be okay. It works well and saves the strain on my knees and back. Haven't had it very long so not sure how long it will last but there are six of them so should be good for awhile.

My friends are raving about these ball retrievers. It grasps the ball well and doesn't fall off. I ordered extra boxes and passed them out to my fellow golfers. Do be careful putting your putter back in your back as you can bend the prongs if you aren't reasonably careful. Great value and well made. No tools needed to install.

I liked these because they fit better in my putter than others I have had in the past (ie they don’t fall out). Problem is once you use them for a few rounds the grabber stretches somewhat. If you leave the flag in (which many of us do now) the grabber won’t always grab the ball hard enough to pull the ball out of the hole. I compared the size of the grabber with a friend’s identical style grabber and hers, which is older, is much tighter than these. That said, for the most part they do the job.
