I'm using this sieve pretty unconventionally... As a Korean, I go through a lot of rice. I get those huge bags of rice, to last 2-3 months at a time. I try to buy more than one bag, as the price will surely go up the next time. Even in correct storage, there's no way to prevent those grain bugs from making meal out of my soon to be meal. Basically, I use this sieve to shift through several cups of grain to get all those buggers out. The mesh hole is just small enough that a full grain won't pass through, but big enough for the bugs. Though, I do lose out on some half grains that could've still been in my belly. A small sacrifice to not have those buggers in my belly too. The bugs are harmless to humans when ingested, but I just rather not if I can help it. This sieve works great for my use, but a bit of a pain to wash if you don't have a giant sink.

I love this electric sieve! I bought it to remove the bran from my fresh-milled flour (FMF) and it does an excellent job. Now my FMF bread crumb is light and fluffy. I use the 50 mesh for AP flour. It’s kind of big but fits ok in the corner of my kitchen countertop.

Loud, works really well at sieving out ground wheat. With the addition of the 40 sieve it does great work at separating everything out. For what we got it for though the 60 was all we really needed in the end. But, be warned, loud and kind of scary at first use. You'll get use to it though. Great machine!

It is a little cumbersome, and sieving by any means is always a little messy, but other than slightly difficult spring hold-downs, it works well. I use this with home milled flour, although I now use a Japanese rice cleaner for pre-milling bran removal instead of using the sieve post milling. The mill is still handy for sifting freshly milled flour for cakes and pastry. I wish these came with a variety of different mesh sieves, as I had to do a lot of searching around Amazon and on a popular auction site to get a range of sieves without paying a ridiculous price. Overall, a pretty good product, and for the scientifically curious, watching the wave mechanics as things are sieved can be pretty interesting. I hope this is helpful.

I purchased this vibrating sieve to clean buckwheat hulls used in pillows. This product is a lifesaver for me. In the past I attempted to use a handheld sieve, which took hours and resulted in a fine brown dust getting all over the table, even while holding over a large plastic tub. I was able to clean about 8-10-lbs of buckwheat hulls in less than an hour, which took me hours to do by hand in the past. Too bad the product is no longer available.

Use the matt they send otherwise it walks on the countertop. We use the 50 screen so it's slow when doing a lot of flour but very happy with the unit

Ya this is super useful for me, I use it to filter potassium nitrate that I ball mill and 150 mesh is PERFECT for potassium/sugar l/parafin wax smoke devices. I'll throw 5 20mm chrome steel balls it it to help vibrate the powder through since I don't got one of those cool machines that I believe possibly vibrate or something the, normally flour I guess?, through. I left it out one night it was raining and not a spec of corrosion l, so, I believe it's food grade. Hehe. And the screen I can't detect any stretching bouncing 20mm steel balls around on it so, that's good. Seems sturdy enough.

The machine is well designed with the exception of the 3 springs that hold the lid and both sieves in place. It’s both dangerous and prone to popping off and bending the hook. I mounted three aluminum window clips which are secured with machine screws. The extension and smaller diameter solves both problems.
