Honey , 7.5 Ounce (Pack of 12) : Annie's Homegrown Bunny Grahams, Honey, 7.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)

We love Annie's bunnies and they've stopped carrying them at our local grocery store. So i bought through Amazon. I was hesitant to buy so many boxes (12) at once because of expiration dates. But I thought surely if they are selling that many at once, it will have an expiration date that's a few months away. Well, we received our packages today (April 10), and all of the boxes expire June 4. Less than 2 months to eat 12 boxes. That's 1 1/2 boxes per week. Don't think my little ones eat them quite that much, so we'll surely be throwing away at least 4 of the boxes. A real disappointment. We are eating these as a replacement for Teddy Grahams but losing that much money on them is too much for me. :(

**update - I talked to Annie's cst service and they said that they were aware of some batches having rancid oil. The exp date 22MAY2016, which is what I had, is part of that. They said that they aren't doing a recall since that is only for if something is hazardous. They said they'd send coupons but I honestly can't imagine wanting to eat them anytime soon!We've gotten these before and they were fine. Something is terribly wrong with the latest shipment. There is a hideous rancid smell and taste. My baby was eating them and the older boys, who normally love them, refused to eat them. As soon as I put my face near the crackers, I could smell something rotten. The expiration date is six months in the future so it's not that. The only thing that I can compare it to is once we found a super old box of crackers at my grandparents' house and it had the same sickening smell. I put one in my mouth hoping that it didn't taste as bad as it smelled - It was worse! I can't believe that my baby was eating these. It is is upsetting thinking about what went wrong to make them taste like that. It's not worth the risk of them tasting this bad to get them again.

I have to admit I really love Annie's products, in my opinion I think the ingredients she uses are superior to many other brands on the market while still offering great taste.My 1-1/2 yo little one really enjoys these bunny grahams, they are the perfect size for her.I have this product on subscribe and save, I save a bunch of money when compared to purchasing at Whole Foods.Product always arrives fresh, the box is a great size as I'm able to use it before it goes stale.

Great afternoon snack. Use by date was too close to shipping date for single person use.

These simply taste great! I can't get enough of them. It's great that they are organic too.
