Nice pickleball paddle for the money!
I purchased this as a backup paddle to lend to pickleball newbie friends and family. I tested it out on the court today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and play of this paddle! It is nice and light (less strain on my tennis elbow) as well as has a nice feel to it. I am an intermediate player but would gladly play with this paddle when I don't have my favorite Paddletek paddle. I guess the only negative would be that it's probably not approved for USAPA tournament play. However, I was happy to receive an email from PickleballCentral informing me that it is warrantied for 1 year. Good value!

Great light-weight pickleball paddle
This is a great paddle if you are just learning the game OR need something that doesn't tire your arm out easily. I used this paddle for the first few months of pickleball play and found that my arm did not get too tired after 3 hours of play. Now that I'm a little more experienced I've moved up to an 8 oz. paddle which I bought through Pickleball Central and I love that one, too. The one I bought after building up my muscles and skill level is the Paddletek Bantam EX-L, which I love. So if you're looking for a lightweight paddle to begin learning (6.7 oz, I believe), or to not tire your arm, I recommend this PTK-TYRO paddle.

Perfect for beginners!
I just took up pickleball. Didn't want to spend a fortune on a paddle til I knew I was going to stick to it. This paddle is perfect...light weight, small grip, (I have small hands) and perfect for the novice. Several new people to pickleball have ordered this same paddle, based on my recommendation.

Lightweight!
My spouse needed a lightweight small handled paddle, and there doesn't seem to be many choices in the market. We were delighted to find this Rally Tyro 2 paddle made by pickleball central. Good value, delivered promptly. This paddle has been enjoyable for my spouse, finally comfortable to play after 3 prior purchases of other paddles that didn't work for her. The paddle is not certified for tournament play, which isn't an aspiration for this beginning player.

Great combination of power and control until the edge guard broke.
I've been playing pickleball for a month now and I'm still working on improving my game. I've been working on hitting the ball with control and sometimes hit the ball a little soft. I wanted to get a little more power out of the racket, so I could focus on hitting with a consistent stroke and not have to try to produce more power with my swing. This racket is exactly what I was looking for. It has excellent power, a large sweet spot, and great control. I started out with a Zen racket, which is a good racket, but the Rally Graphite Power 2.0 gives me more power, with no loss of control. I've played with it three times now and I'm very pleased. My only complaint is that I would like a 4.5 grip circumference. I have big hands and I need a larger grip size. Why are so few rackets offered in 4.5 grip size? I'll have to put an overgrip on it to make the grip larger.Update: This was a great racket until it broke. About the fifth time I was playing with this racket, the edge guard separated at a seam on the front edge of the racket where the left and right half of the edge guard joins together. While I was playing, I pushed the edge guard back together at the seam. After a few more hits, the left half of the edge guard completely separated from the racket. This seam at the from of the racket is a definite weakness in the design. I haven't seen it on any other rackets.I returned the racket to Amazon and was reimbursed. Now I'm looking for a racket with similar materials and characteristics.

... a lighter paddle and had to bang the ball pretty had to get some velocity on it
I was using a lighter paddle and had to bang the ball pretty had to get some velocity on it. Now, using this paddle that weighs approx. 7.9 ounces, my power game has improved. At the net just hold it up at the right angle and with minimal effort you can place the ball where you want with a simple wrist shot. Learning to hit top spin shots has taken a bit more time....overall my game is improving. Great paddle for arthritic hands...at least my hands anyway.

We highly recommend these paddles to our beginner students
My wife and I teach beginning Pickleball in two locatiions--Wisconsin and Florida. We highly recommend these paddles to our beginner students. These paddles are a great example of why you do not need to spend a lot of money to get a high quality, lightweight paddle. I used to play with an eighty dollar paddle. Now I play with this paddle only. This is not a paid endorsement.
