Out of the box and working they way I needed in less than 5 minutes.
Our internet provider finally forced us to switch for DSL to fiber. I had a mesh Wi-Fi system going on at work because the there is no data line running to my boss's office and the DVR for the security cameras. Come to find out the mesh was not compatible with the new modem. My boss can connect to the new system but DVR would not until I find something that a can connect an ethernet to and pick up the new Wi-Fi. So, I ask ChatGPT. I told it what DRV box I had and what modem I had and what do I need to get it going. And this device is what it told me to get. WOW! I had high expectations that there would be some kind of difficulty and repeating of the steps until it worked. Every piece of tech I get always have problems at first. This? No. It was out of the box and in service in less than 5 minutes. I set it to Client mode and followed the prompts and done. I also was not expecting the high data needed for the DVR to work so quick either. When I am off network, all 16 cameras are showing on my phone real quick.

Wasn’t Functional
Even with support, it failed to work in any way. They also need better customer support, Lept me on hold a few times, more than an hour. The only time it worked was when hard wired to router. Waste of my time!

Great price for the tp link router!
I really am happy with the travel router I purchased to act as a modem but also secure my free wifi in the apartment building I live in with my few devices I have to be on my own network.

easy to install
I found it was a little bit too complicated to connect, but that is me I'm not good with electronics. I did get my daughter to help and she got it to work. Other then that it is a good hotspot to carrie around especially on the road.

Amazing customer support; wifi bridge extension for my old Mac with a broken wifi card
Works perfectly! I had to call customer service but it was easy to get connected and they helped me troubleshoot everything perfectly. Now I have an old computer with a broken wifi card working without any issues thanks to TP-LINK. Thank you so much!
