Alpine PartyPlug Pro Hi-Fi Party Ear Plugs 21dB 3 Tip Sizes Included, Clear

I have found these alpine plugs very good. I use them in party venues, concerts, but also on trains when people are noisy. They are very soft and comfortable to wear and I get the transparent ones so unobtrusive. It does reduce the music down to a safer level and I have found they don't affect the quality of the music. (my hearing is very sensitive) I usually pull my hair down over my ears as well but I would still wear them if I couldn't. I always have a pair on a keyring. I usually just rinse them soapy water but when I have been out I have used sanitiser in an emergency. I use the alpine sleep soft ear plugs when it is noisy and always travel with a pair in case of noise.

These plugs proved to be inadequate for my needs, probably the original recommendation wasn't the right one

Went to a concert expecting more from these. Disappointed on their overall hearing protection. Definitely a good comfortable fit in my ears. Not worth using for live music.

Was in the front row at a major concert and the ear plugs worked great. No soreness. No ringing in the ears after and no headache from the loudness !

Works fantastic! Gives you the ability to hear the mix clearly without your hearing being damaged.
