This little unit worked very well for the room upstairs, so we I bought two more for the remaining bedrooms on the second floor. We have been battling the climate change from the first to the second for years, from trying to decrease airflow on the main and hoping it would make a difference. But to no avail. Even considered a new air handler since this unit is well over 20 years old. Buying these air ducts probably saved us thousands. Now whenever we go upstairs, there is noticably no change in temp from the first to the second floor. Absolutely amazing and could not be happier. Don't know how long they'll last yet as they are brand new. But for this price, I think it's worth the investment. I've read good and bad reviews on just about every brand and took a chance on this purchase. Sometimes you win! I also emailed their customer service and they were very helpful and prompt with their response. This unit and company check all the boxes with regard to product and service. They are not loud at all, and on max fan speed they basically give off a bit of white noise, which my son actually appreciates for sleeping. Elated customer here!

I bought this in hopes that it might help a room that stays warmer year round because of a bay window that is in the sun most of the day. I was skeptical, but this register fan made a believer out of me. It works off of a thermostat and comes on when needed and shuts off when not. The fan settings allow for a more powerful circulation as needed. You do hear the fan blowing at about the 5 or 6 setting and above, but the noise is not intrusive. 100% recommend.

Updated 12/24/2024: After posting the review below (pointing out that one of two units failed after 5 months), the seller contacted me, told me the unit was under warranty, and provided a replacement at no cost. No issues with the replacement so far. Will update if that changes. Updated rating to four stars.## Original Review ##I have two of these, in two different rooms. Both rooms are far from the HVAC, and tend to get cold in the winter, hot in the summer.One of these units has been working well for 9+ months. It helped the room stay cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter.I bought a second one (for a different room) about 5 months ago. It worked well for a while. As of today, it no longer powers on. The display doesn't come on when the buttons are pressed, and the fans never turn on.This is disappointing, as it did help with temperature control.

I bought 4 of these fans. Starting to see fans are running when not supposed to. I have only the heat enabled to come on at 90 degrees Fahrenheit, cold feature is set to off. However, with furnace off, fan will still be running even though it reads duct temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit. 68 is very much lower lower than 90 so should be off, so what’s going on. If I cycle through the buttons it will go off. Seems like something is getting stuck, relay or wind sensor maybe, will email support and see response and update this review, hoping maybe I’m doing something wrong but very hard to see that given this behavior seems random with all 4 registers I have???

I like this register fan! I wish they made a 4" x 14" size. That's the size I needed. I searched all over the internet but nobody made a register fan that size. I ended up making an adapter with my old register cover which was a real pain in the butt. I believe if they made a 4" x14" model they could squeeze 3 fans in it instead of 2 and it would move even more air. It helps to regulate the temperature in the room but only by a couple of degrees. It's fairly quiet and the remote control works well.
