The Most Fun You Can Have With Glue as a Fully Grown Adult
These Elmerโs Disappearing Purple Glue Sticks are an absolute delight. The purple color is basically a builtโin โdid I actually glue this?โ indicator, which saves me from my own chaotic crafting tendencies. It goes on bright, dries clear, and makes me feel like a responsible human who knows where their glue actually is. Theyโre smooth, theyโre messโfree, and they stick exactly the way school glue should. Kids love them because theyโre colorful and fun. Adults love them because they prevent accidental glueโeverywhereโexcept-the-paper situations. Honestly, itโs a win for all ages. The 12โpack is perfect for arts and crafts, quick fixes, scrapbooking, or that one project you swore youโd finish months ago. And the fact that theyโre washable means I can glue with reckless creative abandon and not worry about purple streaks haunting my clothes forever. If you want glue thatโs reliable, satisfying, and just a little bit magical, this pack is a must.

Successfully glued mailing label to package
I finally used up a Sparco glue stick, .88 oz., after many years. I've used it mostly for gluing computer-generated mailing labels onto packages to be mailed by USPS. These Elmer's Washable Disappearing Purple School Glue Sticks did the job for me. It's nice that the glue spreads purple but quickly turn transparent. The mailing label seems to have stuck onto the package very well. If the package gets caught in the rain during delivery, I wonder if the "Washable" attribute means the label could come off, but I don't know. I wish the package had indicated that the glue forms a permanent bond. At .21 oz. per stick, these are much smaller in weight and diameter of the Sparco glue stick, roughly one-quarter the size, so it took a bit more time to cover the surface. The writing on the sticks, such as "Made in China", is very difficult to read, being small black text on a dark blue background.
