Dimensions say they are 16" x 8" x 3"? Are these really 8" wide and 3" tall, it seems incorrect?

The dimensions of the color box package are 16" x 8" x 3". The height of the RGBIC TV Light Bars are 14.8'',the width is 1.6''.

Do these have to be used with a tv, or can they be ised for ambient lighting too?

I already have the tv back light strips with the camera. Will these connect to it to show the correct colors?

Like it a lot!

I swore it wouldn't be so great, but it is! Easy to connect with the app and Google Home. There are numerous features, different scenes, dynamic (dimmable) lighting, a lot of color options, and even a rhythm-changing color setting. It's good for home decor, a desk, or other places. Now I am using it behind the TV.
